NO... plain and simple, its an ex... and an ex for a reason. If he/she is in jail then they did something to get themselves put there. Let whoever this person is figgure out their own problems. Sometimes when a person has no one to turn to they hit rock bottom and clean their lives up. Good Luck.

It would depend what the situation was between me and him. Plus why he was in jail to begin with. Would he do the same for you? If he messed up enough to go to jail, then that is what he deserves. Let him take care of his own responsibilities.

I have helped my ex husband in prison because he had next to nobody. He took advantage of me in doing so so I help very little now. If he ended up in prison again I would give him no help whatsoever.

depends what they in for and just how bad was the relationship, if you don't trust them then don't risk yourself for them, can't put the house up for bail and have them run out, and can't bail out some child perv or a drunk driver who hit some one, have to keep in mind of the crime itself as well

it depends on what your helping them out with.
Giving them a ride- o.k. giving them money not o.k. helping them move o.k. letting them stay with you not o.k.
Just use your own judgment. You know the person we don't. Don't let someone take advantage of you.
