My husbands birthday is Aug, 8th and I don't know what to do or get him. He will be 24. We are not very big into buying really expensive gifts for each other. We are more about the thought of the gift or event. If anyone has any good thoughtful ideas please share!!! thanks

I got married when I was 16 and now I am 37 and feel that my marriage has always been a marriage of responsibilty. I would love to move on and try to find true happiness and love but I always get guilt trips about how I am going to ruin my kid's lives. (They are 18 & 21). I feel so frustrated that I can't even enjoy life. Then there is the religious aspect that if I just get my life straightened up (no more smoking and drinking) and fully give my life to God that everything will be ok. I am not confused about what would make me happy and content with life but I am not sure that it is faIr to my family and if I am just being selfish. HELP!

I love him so much, my boyfriend that is and it has been over 2 1/2 years and he is 36, I am 35, he just became a corrections officer and has always said when he is settled in a "career" we would move forward. He bought my engagment ring 3 months after we met. We dont live together, he still lives at home, his dad passed away 10 years ago and his job is 25 min from me and over and hour and 15 min from his house. He stays with me for 3 days at a time, I go up there as well His mom loves me and so does his sister who also lives there, she is 44. I have my own condo and want to get married and have a family and he says he does to, am I being taken for a ride? He is the most caring sensitive, loving man, Help!!!

My fiancee and I have gone from having sex every night to every other night and now maybe twice a week, all in 1 year. I'm not in perfect shape but I'm not disgusting either. He tells me he's attracted to me but we only have sex at night in the dark. Then first thing the next morning after we have sex, he looks at porn on the computer. He does this when he thinks I'm still sleeping and he only looks at it after sex. I feel like he's grossed out by my body and has to get a better image in his mind. He says he's attracted to me but why won't he look at me and why does he look at porn afterwards? I've been excercising to get in better shape but like I said, I'm not disgusting. I can't ask him because he'll ask me why I'm spying on him, which I'm not. We use the same computer and the same folders.

My daughter and her fiance have lived together for over 2 years now and have a baby. They are getting married Oct. 6. Once they announced their wedding, Ms. X (the fiance's mother) started planning everything, putting deposits down at different places--basically running up a huge tab, before discussing anything with my husband and I about helping out financially. That was a month or so ago she started doing this. She called me the other night asking if we were going to "follow wedding etiquette." She was very rude from the get-go, talking down to me, basically implying that we have alot of money (we do not!) and that we should be paying for photographer, reception, food, drink, etc. Things she has already put money on before consulting anyone. And they live in Ohio while we live in Indiana. Not too convenient for us to run over there anytime we want. She hung up on me when my answers didn't satisfy her. She was very rude to my husband when he called her later. HELP!

I mean whats the deal... shes so much nicer to me when people are around... especially my step dad... but mean to me when its just me and her..

yesturday my mom and my step dad was talking on the phone.. i guess he fell or something while talking on the phone... and she liked SCREAMED... "OMG YOU SCARED ME TO DEATH, I WAS SO WORRIED, BE CAREFUL,... OK GO GET SOME REST" i wanted to gag

i mean today she yelled at me cuz my step dad came home from his business trip and my mom wanted me to greet him on the drive way.. but i didn't go out early enough so he just came through the door

i think my moms going through metapause... i dont even think she loves me... she once told me that she wanted to get an abortion before i was born... but my stupid dad wanted to have me... (dont tell me to stay with him b/c hes as bad or worse)

I was adopted at birth and recently obtained my adoption records. So I have the maiden name of my birth mother and her last name when she was married but I know she got divorced. I'm not sure if she's gotten married again in the last 25 years, so I'm not sure how to even start looking for her. Hi, I love this girl very much and we have been dating for 6 monthes and at the end of the 5th month she started haning out with this other girl that everybody hates and now she dumped me and is acting like this other girl and we used to love each other. She said that she lost interest in me and was sick of the fighting and with the issues all the time but the only reason we were fighting is because she started hanging out with the other girl. Now I said to her that I don't care who she hangs out with and stuff anymore, I just want her back. And it hurts so much because she is seeing someone else and it has oly been about 3 days and it hurts. About a month ago, we used to love each other so much and always wanted to be together and those feelings just dont vanish. I just want to get back together with her but she needs space. I'm thinking about waiting until schools starts and asking her out again and making everything better but I don't know. Please help me.

And now its decided that we are getting married, now she
said few days back to me,,,,, that she would like to hand around with her best friend which is a BOY of my age.
She never said any thing like this before we decided to get married.
Now what do I do?
Should I get married to her?
Should I talk to her and tell her no way you cannot hand around like this.
OR I dont say any thing, just keep quite
Or some times I think, she will be too busy with me and my family and her family and new world of marriage that she will hardly get time to think of moving around with that boy.

She recently got out of a relationship and we both like each other, when she is out and drunk i get alot of texts sayin how mad for me she is and all that but she is a bit harder to read the rest of the time. I like her alot but i dont want to rush things and be the rebound guy.
How should i approach the situation?
And are these messages what she actually feels or just because she is drunk?
