Just relax, apart from a bit of pressure on the lobe it's virtually painless. But remember to clean the site with surgical spirit twice a day for a week, this avoids infection.
Mine were peirced at one day old,the old fashioned way with an ice cube large needle and a turnip strip at the back of the ear.I have since had two more holes put in with the gun and it was fine.Just think of the great ear rings you can wear.

It isn't the piercing that hurts. Not at all! However, there is some discomfort later that may last a couple of days. Follow the instructions to keep the areas cleansed. It feels good so I am sure you will adhere to keeping them clean. Do observe afterward for any signs of infection. That is the only risk.
Good Luck!

Sing the theme tune from your favourite show in your head. It will all be over and done with by the time you have finished.

Just remember to keep the piercing clean and you will have no problems. And, most importantly, you would have had more painful sneezes than having an ear pierced. Now, hold still...

Once you've had it done clean it once or twice a day with warm salt water. It'll sting a little when you've first had it done but that goes away in a few days. Make sure you don't take it out too early or change it either, it could get infected or heal up, then you have to go through it allllll again lol

It truly is not that big of a deal. Find a focal point in the room that you can stare at and concentrate. I promise you will be like "that was it?"

My daughter wanted her ears pierced when she was 2 and a half, she didn't cry. But she is a rock star, too.

getting your ears pierced is no different to doing anything else you havent done before-it seems way worse before and you imagine the worst, its quick, and painless. if its a gun, they will mark your ears, with a pen for position, then line it up and click-its done, your ear will feel like it was pinched, then it will fell warm. if its a needle, again the pen, breathe in, needle through, breath out, jewellery in, JOB DONE, either way, the secret is in the after care, follow the instructions and you'll be fine, good luck

Be prepared for the shock.
No, really.
When I had my ears pierced it felt like little electric shocks, though it is /quite/ a shock, so just be prepared for it.
Remember to use any creams they give you, I forgot mine once and it was really painful.
