...a week before your wedding?

My cousin's wedding is next week. My mom just saw this in the paper about her reception hall:

When the Health Department checked out the Polish Falcons this week, they found a total of 3 critical code violations. The inspector found mouse droppings and cockroaches. The mice "evidence" as the inspector puts it was found in a storage cabinet for dishes. The inspector found those cockroaches in the building's basement. They told the Polish Falcons to call an exterminator right away. They got another critical for food temperatures. A walk-in cooler was holding at 45-degrees. That's above the 41-degrees considered safe for potentially hazardous foods. They told the Polish Falcons to 'throw out' the food in that cooler and stop using it until it's fixed. The third critical concerns storage. The inspector found toxic chemicals stored above food service utensils.

After one previous failure experience and a current one that is coming to an end now ... I decided to give up love and the weird thing is that am happy now rather being in any failure relationship. Am not willing even or aspiring to open up my heart again. Is that weird about me or that seems as deep frustration?
P.S am not the cause of these previous failures, am just needing sincere pure love while they only needed ways to abuse me indirectly. For me love is not to be bought or sold .. love grows in the heart everlasting ... Is it my right to be happy like I am now and needing no love any more?

I've been with this man for 15 years, we have two children (12 and 9). He was an active crack addict for the last 7 years. We've lived apart for the last 5 months. He is now in rehab and is a little over 30-days clean. He really seems as if he is serious about his recovery. My friends keep telling me that he isn't on my "level" and that I don't deserve to be mistreated...but I keep thinking along the lines of "forgive, but don't forget...people can change when they really want to". Then they say "even if he stays sober, he'll hold you back" and I'm thinking "How? As long as he has a job, pays bills, takes care of his children, is a partner to me, and keeps his sobriety, why not give him another chance? I mean, look at the time we have together". Doesn't it seem dumb to stay with an active addict for so long, just to leave him as he is working a program? I am interested in your opinions and would like to request that you include the reasons for your answers?

My son is getting married June of 08 and it's a black and white wedding. My daughter in law will be carrying white cala lilies and white roses. My son suggested I wear a black and white dress but I don't want to wear the exact same thing that the mother of the bride might wear.

I am leaving my fiancee....but need some advice on what to do now...caught him again on the internet..dating sites, pornos....and they weren't adult pornos...they were teenagers with older guys! He's sick, beyond the help stage...he is getting off watching younger girls having sex with older guys....disgusting!!! What to do now? Should i go to the police about it? I mean i have children involved..not his though, but i have daughter, how do i know he didn't do anything to her??? I have an ex-boyfriend that wont leave me alone. He is constently living me messages and passing by my job to tell me things that are not important. Some times he leave messages that sound likes his mad at me and some are saying that he cares about and etc. To make the story short I have told him a million times I don't want anything to do with him anymore because he is always in a bad mood. Well this morning he passed by my job to tell me that if he sees me with someone else that he will kill me. Then he was looking at me like if he was crazy and then he starts to laught and say, do you believe what I just said I will never hurt you because I love you I was just playing with you. But I really think he ment it. I didn't want to tell my family but I did told my co-worker just in case anything happends to me. Do you think I am making a big deal out of this or should I go and get a restraining order against him. I don't think he'll hurt me, but I don't know. I dont want him in jail.

I'm quite quiet but not shy. Just don't know how to start a conversation with anyone. This man says he loves me and needs me but he has become so stressed that it is hard to look me in the eye. He doesn't call and says that doesnt mean he wants it over just that he needs to be alone right now. He wouldn't kiss me goodnight the othernight and doesn't understand why that hurt but if I ever turned from his kiss good bye in the morning it would break his heart. He feels pressured to hold me or something at night. He seems to feel pressure for what he is not able to feel at the moment which he assures me always comes back on the upswing of the disease. Ok so this is what has been going on, My boyfriend and I have been together for 2 years and we are expecting our first child due August 9th 2007. We have always been completly honest with each other and we tell each other everything, latley he has been getting these phone calls that he wont tell me what they are about, i know he is not cheating on me i trust him completly, and the other day i walked in the bedroom before he was about to leave and he was putting a small box in his pocket he said that he had to go to the store, when i asked him what it was he said its nothing and quickly left, and yesterday i caught him and my mom whispering something, so last night he asked me to go to the beach with him on saturday he is taking me to the resturaunt where we had our first date, so what do you think is it that time?

When I was 15, I made mistakes. Bad crowds, once I drank and was disrespectful. They were harsh, even cruel. Every teen makes mistakes and I was really sorry. They said they didn't trust me. Of course this cruelty broke my spirit. I got into a deep depression, but they were cruel. I found people who trusted and helped me, like some teachers, so I got over. I made my parents proud, but could never see them as loving parents again. I became espectful but distant, like a stranger, never forgot that day. Today I'm 23, graduated, have a good job, and nothing changed, that day is still a painful memory. I moved out and for 3 years have hardly talked with them. they've been trying to restablish our relationship, but I avoid them, can't forget. A relationship would be hurtful, all thos sad and hurtful memories would come back. I agreed to talk with them this night, but I'll say I don't want them in my life. They didn't love and trust me when I needed them most. Now it's too late.

So I been talking to a guy off of an internet site.. well we haven't met, just been talking on messenger. Well.. he became very rude and mean but I still loved him.. he used to degrade me and all and then suddenly he becomes nice again. Well he says that if I shave my head that he will get married to me and let me move in.

Well he tells me he bought a ring and wanted me to shave my head, so I shave all of my hair off. All of a sudden all he says is "LOL" and that "you are an idiot"

I ask him why he did that... and he says "Because, I can. You have a shaved head now so no other guy will need to be harassed by you.. lol"

Why would he do this?

Well , u know , she left . I thought it's because i didn't trust her enough and hurt her . But i was thinking and it became clear that . she was chosing her family over me . She has done this before . But this time it was more unconcious and didn't even let me see it even for a bit . She has told me from the beginning that she will chose what her parents say , and if they say "No " she will go with them . I begged for 2 weeks when i first saw her and make her decision after that . She stayed with me for a year . and last week she said " Never call me " , "I hate your voice". and i could't say anything because it seems like she has been planning all the little fights and everything , for this . ( So i wouldn't get hurt in the future when she knows her parents will say "NO ") .
On top of that eventhough this is the real reason why we were fighting , it was Coated with " Trust issue" problems , because after a year , talking about "is there love" is pretty hurting to both.what to do ?:

He live with his Mother till last year when she sent him here to live with his Dad. In the last 14 months His Grandfather has been in the Hosp. twice. Then May his Dad was put in for 3 days with heart problems. This kid will not work or help out around the house to earn his keep. Up till last week he did as he please at that point we found out he had been calling his mother telling her he was depressed and thinking about killing himself. After a Dr vist he was sent to a mental health clinic at both he blame or gave a different reason for the depression. He is in out paniet care which will end soon. His Grandmother say send him back to his mother. We are trying to show him what happen when you don't follow the rules. What should we do?
