Go to the zoo, play at the park, go shopping

why not buy her one of those cheap disposable cameras, then take her out for the afternoon asking her to take pictures of the things she likes most such as the park, she takes a pic of her favourite swing there (for eg) then you feed the ducks together she takes a pic of the ducks, and so on.

if it's not all done in one day it doesn't matter, then next time she comes round you can, or you see her again you can carry on where you left off, when the films finished take her with you to the photo shop to get developed, then maybe next time you can both make a scrap book stick the photos in there with a little monologue about each picture. maybe buy some stickers, and things from the shops on the way home to make it look pretty.

If she is fairly young;
Go to the park
Go feed the ducks
Take her on a train ride for a couple of stops
Take her to the penny sweet shop and let her spend 20p/50p/£1
Get the bus into town and explore some shops
Take her swimming
Go for a walk in the woods, kids love exploring (leaves, bugs trees etc!)
Take her for a walk in welly boots - there are lots of puddles around today!

If she is older;
Go shopping together
Take her to the cinema
Take her out for lunch/dinner
Go to a salon and get your nails done together

But most importantly - have fun!

well if the weather is good...why not go on a bike ride, or a walk in the park, or do some shopping, or maybe go for a picnic.... is she old enough to ride a bike yet? the weather here is awful, and my grandson aged 3 is coming for a visit tomorrow, just checked the forecast and it's gonna rain again....so now i have to think of something to do indoors...maybe get his fave dvd's out and let him sit in my bedroom and watch them with me and his grandad....i have no clue what to do while the weather is like this...it's not stopped raining for almost 4 weeks now....(that's English weather for you)...yesterday was hot and sunny, now we have that dreaded rain again...it's so frustrating...

The same thing I'm going to do with mine next week.....I'm taking her camping! I'll get to point out nature, and teach her a few things I know her mom doesn't, cuz her mom hates to camp.
If you have no tent, just grab some bug spray, and blankets, and sandwhiches. Go for it. Have fun

How about something like bowling, swimming, ice skating? Things you can do indoors that are fun for all ages.
