I have an ex-boyfriend that wont leave me alone. He is constently living me messages and passing by my job to tell me things that are not important. Some times he leave messages that sound likes his mad at me and some are saying that he cares about and etc. To make the story short I have told him a million times I don't want anything to do with him anymore because he is always in a bad mood. Well this morning he passed by my job to tell me that if he sees me with someone else that he will kill me. Then he was looking at me like if he was crazy and then he starts to laught and say, do you believe what I just said I will never hurt you because I love you I was just playing with you. But I really think he ment it. I didn't want to tell my family but I did told my co-worker just in case anything happends to me. Do you think I am making a big deal out of this or should I go and get a restraining order against him. I don't think he'll hurt me, but I don't know. I dont want him in jail.

Can you say STALKER? No but he is stalking you.....and it seems that he does have potential on possibly hurting you. I would consider the restraining order

If you have told him to leave you alone multiple times and he is not listening to your wishes, YES, you need a restraining order. You need to tell the authorities about the threat. You might not think that he is capable of really hurting you or that he wouldn't do it, but you never know. He might really be crazy. At least by telling the authorities you have put something in writing as a formal complaint - that way if you do get hurt, he will be MADE to leave you alone. This is affecting your well-being. It is also hindering your ability to do your job. Please be careful and get this taken care of. Good luck!

go tothe police department, fill out a statement on what he has been doing. Change all your online info, change your phone number, and why not move a few towns away? can't you tell your Dad or brothers about him? got any uncles etc? you'r be surprised how male relatives love to get on such wierdos, have a police officer serve papers on him to stay the hell away. do what it takes but do someting, and do it now., get some distance, get a boy "friend", to be there when mr wack job shows up, and he'll get the point.

Go to court and get a restraining order to keep him away from you. until then, call the cops and tell them he is harassing you. He will learn in short order to keep away from you or he will have to pay the consequences. and if he gets physical in any way, yell 911 as loudly as you can and get the attention. It will also provide witnesses if you do end up going to court.

I would take him seriously and file a restraining order. You have made it clear to him that the relationship between you two is over, so he should leave you alone.

Obviously he is disturbed because he is not willing to let you be who knows what he is capable of.
