Should I tell my ex to come and get my son on Sunday instead of tomorrow because of the severe weather warnings? I live near North Yorkshire and it's gonna be bad tomorrow!

My ex isn't the kind of person to take kindly to this, but I don't want to put my son at risk!

Telling him to do something as oppose to asking wouldnt sit to well with me either...

You might want to ASK you ex if he could pick-up the child tomorrow as oppose to Sunday, since the weather will be bad on the schedule day he was coming for the child

If he loves your son then he should respect your what you are saying and be a responsible parent and take into consideration that you are worried about your son and maybe he should be too. Just remember to stay calm, dont yell, because he will only see an argument and not your fear for your son. Good luck!

i think you should let him pick him up when arranged but just let him know you have concerns about the weather,i mean there's no guarantee they've got it right and I'm sure his father cares you as much as you do so isn't going to put his child in any danger, your son and his father are properly really excited about seeing each other so is cutting it a day short fair on them?

Put your son first always. Who cares what your ex thinks. If he's a loving father then he will agree with you. If he doesn't like it then tough! He'll just have to deal with it. Sounds like he's still got power over you if you are even having to ask such a question!

Who cares what your ex thinks. It is your son that you should are responsible for. If your ex is too pig headed to understand that life is not about his wishes or needs then tough for him. His anger will be because he is powerless and because he knows you are right.

You go girl. (-:
