I skip from category to category, and I've been spending the week in Marriage and Divorce. I have seen at least 6 or 7 comments from people that says that sex is not important or not one of the five things that make a marriage work. "JUST FREAKING SHOOT ME!!" Tell me that I'm not the only one that loves "passion"> "romance"> "love making"> and pure throw her down and take it crazy sex sometimes..lol I know love and communication and trust are "very" important....but to say that having a great sex life together is not important is like saying that if you are hungry, eating is just over-rated. Am I just having a testosterone moment here...sheeeeezz. Do you feel that a healthy relationship should always have great communication and passionate sex involved? I know that everytime you will not feel the "Earth Move" but should there be a good amount of fun and sexual play to enjoy. Or am I just being a typical "male."

I'm 32, female, and single. I have had numerous financial problems; some were because of my sheer irresponsibility and others were because of extenueating circumstances. I am working towards taking care of everything, but it is going to take awhile. I never thought this would be an issue when dating, but it is. I have not dated in awhile, but the last time I did, I was kind of embarressed to talk about everything. And the guy I was with usually paid, but I felt like I was taking advantage. I always offered when I could; but being that I am on a strict budget, there were times when I truly did not have the money to offer to pay for meals, etc.

How do I get guys to understand that I am working hard to take care of everything and not a golddigger? I also don't want some guys to think that I am looking for someone to take care of me...I am really not looking to borrow money from someone every month, just looking for someone to date. How would guys view my situation?

I usually babysit w/ my friend jamie sometimes--she babysit's for these really young people and she babysits for a 6 yr old and a 2 yr old..im really nervous about being on my own for babysitting because i usually babysit with someone else..Any suggestions??

I agree I did some wrong stuff, broke some rules, was a bit disrespectful. Lasr week mom got a bit mad at me and decided to punish. I apologized sincerely. This was good, she accepted, was even nice but said I had to learn to follow rules. So for 2 weeks I spend the day doing some chores and learning things I don't enjoy, like cooking, embroidering and sewing. My grandma comes everyday to teach me to cook and one of her friend comes to teach me embroidering. Mom got me some cute frilly aprons and I gotta wear them all day long, a kind of uniform. I hate this, but mom said this will teach me to follow rules. A t night I spend quality time w/ mim, we talk a lot. She's been nice, we sit on the couch she hugs me sometimes even coddles me, but said she'll keep my punishment to the end. Saturday and Monday afternoon I can go out and have fun. These days have been kinda boring, but at least our relationship wasn't damaged and mom said she's kinda happy abut how I'm taking my punishment.

Don't try to say it's love. I love diet pepsi and I don't want to marry one. Don't try to say it's commitment or loyalty. I am commited and loyal to the diet pepsi company and I don't want to marry one. Don't try to say it's communication or trust. I can communicate with the diet pepsi company and I trust them but I don't want to marry a diet pepsi.

Don't try to say it sex or intimacy or children. We all know how hard it is to have children, to have a sexual encounter and to be coveniently intimate.

Don't try to say it's the whole religious issue and/or the vow thing. Non-believer's stay married just as long and/or get divorced just as much.

Love, Commitment, Communication, are not destinations in life, but instead simply feelings along the way. You don't get to Love USA and live there forever.

I have been dating my girlfriend for nearly a year now. We have been friends for years (since we were very young) and we spend a lot of time together before getting together. We both know we love each other and everything is great except for the fact her family hates the fact I am with her. She is a 22 year old and I am a 24. They think that we are headed for a disaster even though we treat each other wonderfully. They think I am taking her out every night getting her drunk and corrupting her. Which is total opposet of what we do. We sit and watch TV every night or see movies. We arent crazy party people or anything. Ok, I'm 100% positive that I'm not having until until I'm married (oh and I'm almost 24). But I recently met this guy that I kinda liked and we went to ihs apartment and fooled around a bit....actually a bit too much for me. Its not like he forced me...I enjoyed it. But now I feel sooooo guilty.....like I've cheated on my future husband! :o(

We didnt do anything "Sexual", technically....
We just made out and well....I let him play with my boobs alotttt! He gave me a hickey But I was still fully dressed and he only had his top off.

I feel soooo guilty now. As if I've lost a piece of my innocence.

What do you think? Think I'll still be pure for my husband? Think that was too slutty on my part? God knows I've learned my lesson...there's noooo way I'm ever gonna do anything like that again!!! They have dated and gone on and off for around 4-6 years. They dated in high school and now both are adults. I came into the picture when he was only starting to get over her. He doesn't want to talk to her or introduce us, or attempt to stay as friends with her (their communication was damaged over the years so he doesn't feel right trying to be friends with her) He still has flashbacks and memories of her when he is alone. Anything I can do to help?

We have already broken up and I waited for him to sort his relationship with her out. I don't think he has healed from it. I am not sure if I should do it again because he believes it will damage the relationship we have together further. I really like him and I care immensely for him (thus my patience for him to get over this girl) I think we have a lot of potential but I am not sure how to deal with this on a daily basis.

Sometimes I think I talk about it too much with him. Should I continue supporting him?

Ok, well I have known this person for about 16 yrs. we had some classes together in middle & high school.We would hang out every once in awhile after we, no I mean I gradauted. We only go out like maybe once every year or something like that. She is a nice person, but we don't have anything in common, she doesn't really value education the same that I do. Our lives have taken two completley differernt paths, & I have changed a lot since school. Not saying that she hasn't had her own growths, but like I said I am not the same person, & she just hasn't seen it yet I guess? So how can I tell her nicely? I tried just not giving her my new # but when I did that she calls my parents house. I don't want her bothering my parents, so I gave in & gave her my number. My problem is that she selfproclaims herself as my best friend & has for years. But she didn't invite me to her wedding, & now that I am getting married she is mad that I didn't tell her we got engaged until almost a month after.

OK this is a little different. I have movie buddies at work. However, neither like a certain genre, so I asked this other man at work who is a little older than me if he'd take that slot for my movie bud and he said prehaps. Later on I asked him and he asked if it would be just us and I said probably since I can't find anyone else who likes those movies. He said since I'm married and he's single that he's a little uncomfy, but would love to, but is afraid of people to start talking since my husband is deployed and this man and I work together. And he's afraid of getting himself into a bad situation with me. Um, it's just a movie partner! He's in the military. I'm not. My husband is fine with it. I just don't understand why he said maybe, but then later on totally did a mind change. What the heck is going on in his head?
