Many woman equate a low status job with low ambition. Accually a job is to make money. It doesn't tell you anything about a guy, except that he has bills to pay. It doesn't tell you if he's going to school or has another job or his own business. Besides that many guys inherit a business or get their job through connections in wich case they don't need much ambition.
I asked the question about turn offs and gave 10 choices and about half the answers (out of 26) put low status job in the top 5. One even put it above fat. Fat tells me more about someone then their job. Fat tells me you are either lazer or eat too much or have a condition that keeps you from exercising.
Besides all that what does job status have to do with dating? (unless it's illegal or immoral) I find it hard to believe that so many woman could be so shallow, stupid and materialistic. I hope the answers I got don't reflect the real world.

I am a 23 year old male and I fell in love with my sister-in-law's cousin who is also my cousin by marriage becasue her cousin is my sister-in-law, so she and I are already cousins by marriage, and she is 35 and I am 23 and I wan't to marry her. She looks younger than she is. W have been going out and magicly I feel in love and now I wan't to purpose to her. Is this wrong. I'm the groom and I'm 23 and she is 35. Is this wrong?

After divorce the courts always lean towards the women. It's fine that the woman has the kids but its now "her" kids and the father needs permission from her and/or the courts when to see and if he can see the kids......everyother weekend, once a week, etc. Why is it so important for them to be with the mother and not the father. Why is it such a womens court when (in some cases) it can be their fault on why the marriage ended.

Why do guys only date skinny girls that dress slutty?
I am a majoy sport chick, and am bigger boned and
have bigger muscles, basically i have a guy build.
but i have a pretty face, and an awesome personality...
so why don't guys like me more than a friend?

I am in a wedding tomorrow and I am the matron of honor. Today, while decorating, I saw the wedding handout and saw that she has another matron of honor besides me and a maid of honor as well. She then has three more bridesmaids. She was my maid of honor in my wedding and we had always said that we would be each other's maid of honor as we had grown up together since birth. Is it just me, or does anyone else think this was extremely rude? I was the only one of the three that didn't know that this was how it was going to be. Am I brat or are my feelings justified?

I dont understand why men get jealous if the girlfriend make more money than them or if the girlfriend has a beter job or at better financial position? Why cant they be just happy if their partner is happy rather than feeling insecure.

I am getting married next year and we want everything to be as cheap as possible but still very elegant. We think there are ways to save tons of money but most people don't choose to do some research!

So, here is my idea...rather than give a traditional type favor that will collect dust, we thought of printing out a 4X6 or 5X7 black and white picture of us from walmart (so it's only 19 cents a piece, a little more for a bigger size) and then writing a thank you note on the back. we also think we'll do a centerpiece giveaway at each table.

does anyone think this idea is really bad?? let me kno please!! and if you have ideas, i would LOVE to hear them!!

Today I was in a minor accident. There was some crap on the I-95 and about 5 cars hit it. No real damage, just two new tires. I posted a question before about "Why does my wife bit** so much"?
Here I am on I-95 @5am. And she is hollering at me as if it's my fault!!
I really think it's time to get outta this crap before we kill each other!! I just can't keep this up anymore. I don't smile anymore and I just out and out hate her....but still love her....it's crazy!!!

Please I need all the help I can get. She tries to insult me and when I go back at her she goes balistic. She tries to get me infront of her friends and family and figures that Iw ill not say anything.....but she is sooooooooooo wrong. And then gets mad that I said something!!!!

this guy and i have been on and off talking for a couple of months. i ask him if he cared about me and he said yeah i care about you but we are just friends. thats fine with me id rather have him in my life as a friend than nothing at all. we still talk but he'll drive by my job and stare at me. recently he pulled in the parking lot and drove all the way around and left. its weird i dont understand. is he checking up on me???? it feels like that. but he says we are just friends. i dont know what to do. i care about him alot but hes totally confusing me. o ya....no we are not having sex !!!! at first i thought he just wanted to use me then i realized he would be trying alot harder than he is.

I am married and just found out that I am pregnant (only about 7 weeks), so no one besides my husband even knows yet. I love my husband more than life, but I feel guilty becasue I do not know how I can love a child nearly as much as my husband. I don't even want to love anyone else as much as I love my husband. i have this guy friend that i met while he had a girlfriend we talked alot and hes really nice but i see him as a friend the first few days we talked after i met him he always told me i was cute flirted with me and asked me for pictures..if you know what i mean after i kept saying no he started talking to me like a normal person (finally) he would rub his girlfriend in my face i didnt really care i just didnt understand why he would bother a few days before he left for vacation he started acting kinda shady

A former supervisor invited me and my boyfriend to her upcoming wedding. I still see her maybe 1-2x/year to catch up on things. Maybe it's just here on Answers, but all I see are people asking or talking about cheating on their spouse, or describing an unhappy marriage. Obviously when people get married, they don't expect their lives to turn out like this. For those that aren't married it makes you wonder if you should get married at all. Maybe I'm just being too cynical.
