I've known this guy for 20 years. We didn't talk for 10 years or more while we were married to other people. Now we're talking again, but i'm puzzled because he can tell me in detail the last time he saw me before. He tells me about outfits that I used to wear. He keeps reminding me of stuff that I have forgotten and asking me why we never went out. Is he just reminising or is he trying to tell me something?

Yep he is telling you that he likes you by letting you know that he has thought of you and remembers things from your past.
He has laid out some pretty big hints. If you like him back.
Then it looks like you could be dating soon.
