Why does are parents never trust us when a boy is invoded in our life?

I told my mother that I was going out with someone and she freaked out and told my I could'nt go out with him. Which I love my mother so I broke up with him and I never talked to him again. That messed up my life. why can't they just trust in us?

You didn't mention your age. I am sure your mother is afraid of you becoming Pregnant. She is also afraid of things that could happen to a young girl not ready to date.
Give her some time and win her trust. Its probably not you she doesn't trust, its the other people she worries about.
