My husbands birthday is Aug, 8th and I don't know what to do or get him. He will be 24. We are not very big into buying really expensive gifts for each other. We are more about the thought of the gift or event. If anyone has any good thoughtful ideas please share!!! thanks

I like the idea of the notes leading him to other notes. Most men like a good mystery.

I have another idea along those same lines. I read this in a magazine. Get several things of saran wrap, get naked and wrap yourself in the saran wrap. Wear a coat or a robe or something.

When he asks whats for dinner take the robe off and tell him. "I am. Would you like leftovers."

I thought it was hysterical.

(In the magzine article I saw this in, the writer claims she got pregnant that night. So if your TTC then you would accomplish both things.)

Do something special for him. Throw him a big surprise party since it's his big 2-1. Invite all his friends, get some alcohol, and have a good time. - Throw him a surprise party at a restaraunt. What about getting him: - a a new fossil watch. Those are really nice & not too expensive. - tickets to his favorite sport. - take him out on a weekend getaway, just you and him!

Cool. My sweetie-pie Teddy's birthday is 8/8 as well! He'll be 76 - terribly sexy years old (and he doesn't need that stinking Viagra!)

Rent 4 of HIS favorite movies (Even if it's all the Rocky, the Die-Hard movies or some other Guyflick) and stay home with an evening of movies and popcorn -

Invite his 3 best buddies and allow them to play poker all night - penny ante, please - Oh and let them smoke cigars in the house.

An affordable but romantic way to celebrate is to make up a picnic lunch and take him to somewhere special where you have shared a special memory.
Set out a picnic blanket and make his favourite foods, it wont cost much but its cute and can be really romantic if you choose the right spoot

Dinner at his favorite place, to a movie where you make some romantic moves on him, then take him home, tie him up, and let him watch you play with yourself until you get off, or better yet, invite a girlfriend over and the two of you make out while he watches.

Get a hotel room and some sexy underwear. When he comes home from work, have a note that leads him to another note and to another until he finally finds a letter or card with the hotel address and room number and key. When he gets there be there with food, drink and be dressed sexy for him.

My wife did this for me a few years ago. I STILL think about it all the time.

Why don't you ask him what he would like to do? My husband and I always do this before any of our "special" events. It is his day after all and he will appreciate that you asked.
