I met a guy at a club the other night and he told me that he was a pro hockey player and a couple of other people in the club seemed to know him so I thought he was telling the truth so I let him come back to my place and slept with him and I gave him my number. He never called me and I also found out that he lied and he isn't on team roster at all. Why would a guy do that? Do they even consider women's feelings at all?

Me and my fiance are engaged but havent set a date yet. I keep stressing myself out because i want everything to be perfect. The problem is I want my niece to be our flower girl and I'm afraid that he will be upset if I dont make his daughter the flower girl. For one, i think she is too old and 2- i doubt her mother would let her attend anyway. She was in his brothers wedding as the flower girl and acted like it was the worst thing in the world to be doing. She didnt even smile in any of the pictures. We have problems already when it comes to his daughter because she does what she wants and doesnt listen bc of her mother. So how do i go about having things done my way?

I had an affair on my wife of 11 years because I have never loved her. I don't want to mess my child up and have been divorced for a little over a year. The person I had an affair with didn't work out and my ex-wife has consistently pursued me to get me back. My ex is a good mother and is a good woman, but I never had the same feelings I had for the other woman. My family and extended family has been torn to shreds over this and I am thinking about giving it another try to try and make things right. I feel so guilty about everything. Could this possibly work?

My best friend is in a divorce and has distanced herself from me. We used to be very close. She gave him 1 last chance and from what I hear he screwed it up. He wanted her to give up our friendship. She did not want to give up our friendship. But she is still very distant. We have always been there for each other. I do not know what is going on with her and I am trying to coup with that fact. I do not have my best friend to talk to help understand and my other friends do not really know her. I just wish I knew where we stand now and what will come of our friendship. I am between giving alot of space and calling and saying what's up? I am truly hurting inside and I want to say screw it all or crying. I hate drama and this is alot of drama. I love her dearly and we used to always talk and have a great time together. We both feel complete when we are together. We used to be able to confide in each other. She is pulling away and I feel I am losing my oldest and dearest friend. Hurting

I'm sneaking out tonight, im getting the bus fairly far away at 12.15am, leaving at 11.45!
My dad wont bother me by then, so it'll be easy, but i just found out my mums out with the girls and wont be back till late...when she comes in she is likely to check up on me!

seriously this section is about WEDDINGS not for you to put your personal opinions into everyone's private lives. if i dare ask a question about my wedding and mention that i'm having a baby in january there is always some rude person who thinks it is necessary to tell me that i should go and get married now or that basically if i don't we are being horrible parents to our baby!!! even other people questions that i have read, if someone mentions that they have a child then OMG they should already be married. haven't you ever stopped to think that, that is not really the question being asked. how would you like it if everytime you tried to ask an important question there was someone there bashing you. i'm not ashamed to have my baby and then get married, it is the right thing for us.

OK so heres the situation my boyfriend and i live at home with my mom and so does my brother and his wife... well my boyfriend was joking around one night and created a fake account and e-mailed my sister in law joking about wanting to sleep with her and apparently he got too vulger and she is threatening to press charges, my boyfriend didnt realize that it was upsetting her that bad... he apoligized for it but still she called my mom today and told her that either he moves out or she does and well he cant afford to live on his own yet but im afraid that if he doesnt move out she will press charges and hes on probation right now so if she does that then he'll go to jail im so confused and dont know what to do!!!!!!!!!

Ok, Well last night...Tha boy that i have liked for i don`t know about 4 months..Well he had a girlfriend.Last night he called me. I didn`t answer cause i thought he was going to be mean. He left a vm saying ''Hey this is Nick seen that you called so i just returned ur call'' Then i texted him saying. Why did you call meh n such. He said cus you called meh i`m like well you d0n`t care. Then he said right bye. Then i`m like if you didn`t care you wouldn`t have called meh. Then i kept making him Laugh don`t know how. Then i`m like how are u in your gf. He didn`t say nothing..So i just blew it off. Then i`m like well ima go. He is like no. I`m like why he said because i don`t want you too..Well then like 30 mintues later He said well i`m fixing to go to bed. well i have a boyfriend and we have been dating for about 10 months. i love him to death. the problem is he gets mad at me for the stupidest stuff. its so annoying. everytime we get in a fight he always says its over and breaks up. but we always get back together. last night was the worst. he keeps reading my texts and checking my phone. i was talking a FRIEND that haapens to be a guy. now he is saying that if i want to stay with him i have to stop talking to guys. i dont make him stop talking to girls so why should i have to be the to drop all of my friends. its not right. im really tired of fighting with him. but i love him alot. i dont want to lose him but what am i supposed to do? is it fair that he can talk to girls but i cant talk to guys? should i dump him and find someone new? i have gave him so many chances and i;m about to give up but i dont want to at the same time... please hellp

OK, I'm the typical "nice guy", which means that I don't get many dates. Women go for the flashier, "hotter", "bad boy" types. They're more likely to tell me they're busy.
I live in a rural area, and the pickin's are getting very slim as the ladies are getting married, engaged, etc. I don't know anyone available to date (my age, anyway), and my friends claim they don't either.
Is it time to break down and try eHarmony? Has anyone had an experience with them and can give me an idea of how good they are to work with, results, etc.? Anyone have any other recommendations for me?

my family and I were up in eagle Nest. my two aunties were going to take the younger kids to the play house in Red River!!!!! It was my 4 yrs cousin my 12 yr old cousin and her friend. Little did they know that there was a drunk on the road heading there way. It was a older man he supposable was taking to much of the medicine that was perscribed to him. Anyways back to my family driving. My aunt that was in the passenger seat made it my cousins and her friend but my aunt that was driving died instantly. The seat belt she was wearing sliced her in half and the stirring wheel was forced into her. :-( It was a really hard night for us. The man came out fine. But none of my family did. My family went head on with them can you believe that head on!!! My aunt that is alive now remembers everything!!!! She had broken her nake she remembered this lady she said her name was sarah but she said she saw heaven. My 4yr cousin broke her pelvis. my 12yr had internal bleeding. the friend was fine.

I'm 13, I have to move, leave my bestfriends, my school, the house I grew up in.
I've never moved in my life before, ever.
I dont know what to do. I'm nervous about it, making new friends, a new school, new everything.
What was it like when you moved? How long did it take you to get new friends/make some friends? What was it like?
Were there any things like books or songs that helped you deal with it?

I am about to graduate college and I started a new job and my boyfriend of 4 years decided to break up with me because he's talk to a girl he works with. We were going to get engaged in October and get married next September. Any advise on how to get over this situation? How do you start over? Should I wait for him to grow up and mature? My mom started to hit me with the belt when I was around 4 years old and it lasted untill I was around 15 or 16 .She also slap me on the face when I was a teen.After that she just grab my hands and shoke me and pretend to come and punch me.My whole life she verbally abused me and she still does it.I`m 22 now.

Her style for hitting me with the belt was hold me with one hand and use the other hand to hit me all over the body with the belt.She would even tell me off while she does it.

I never complain to a social worker because I thought parents could do that.My mom told us that they do it in her country.

My mom`s sister hits her 3 year old everyday for stuff.She also verbally abuse her.I heard her call her stupid once.She hits her because she doesn`t listen.That`s what her mom told me.WHATEVER!.

My family are from the caribbean.Do people think what they do is right? my mom says that the bible said that the parents should beat their kids.

My girlfriend has an child and is going through a divorce and her ex husband is crazy....into drugs ... forgery...the manipulative type. The child told the ex husband that I hit her even though I didn't and then the child changed her mind and said I didnt hit her. He said he wants to meet with me and the mom and child. He has filled her mind with lies with the one visitation day a week he does have. hes manipulating his own child to cause trouble. Everyone has restraining orders on this guy even his own family. Should I meet with him? My concerns are making it seem to the child as if they are choosing between us. She told her dad that she doesnt feel comfortable around me....even though she is 5 and runs to me everytime i'm around. Its obvious he is lying to her. What should i do?

can she do that? we have had our problems but have made a fresh start and are really happy. when my boyf told the kids they were fine. but she has told them that im allowed nowhere near them. this is a bit hard as he usually has them over the weekend. every time we try talking to her she screams and shouts and insults both of us. can she stop the kids coming over?
