well i have a boyfriend and we have been dating for about 10 months. i love him to death. the problem is he gets mad at me for the stupidest stuff. its so annoying. everytime we get in a fight he always says its over and breaks up. but we always get back together. last night was the worst. he keeps reading my texts and checking my phone. i was talking a FRIEND that haapens to be a guy. now he is saying that if i want to stay with him i have to stop talking to guys. i dont make him stop talking to girls so why should i have to be the to drop all of my friends. its not right. im really tired of fighting with him. but i love him alot. i dont want to lose him but what am i supposed to do? is it fair that he can talk to girls but i cant talk to guys? should i dump him and find someone new? i have gave him so many chances and i;m about to give up but i dont want to at the same time... please hellp

Dump him and find a guy that does not go for double standards. I have guy friends and my bf has gal friends and we don't care. He he really loved you, he would trust you.

Double standards here. He wants his fun and he wants you too. Not a nice guy. If you are always fighting what is the point of going on with this relationship?
Sorry love, you need to get rid and quick. You deserve better and should give yourself a break from feeling guilty. Find the nerve to tell him you want him out of your life, then get on with seeing your g/f's and other guys, when you are ready.
Don't give him any more chances, he obviously isn't prepared to meet you half way!

Your boyfriend appears to be a confused insecure young man.This repetitive breaking up and making up is a sign of immaturity and a classic symptom of a control freak-add to the list ,his suspicions evidenced by him reading your messages.The icing is the jealousy over your male friends.Assuming that your friendships with these guys is purely platonic, it is unreasonable for him to expect you to have no male friends.There is also the issue of equity, a point you raised yourself.If he can talk to girls, why cant you talk to guys.While I understand that we can't always choose whom we fall in love with, I will suggest that you consider ending this romance if he is not willing to amend his ways and build a better relationship with you.Let him know that he is not helping you to build the kind of romance you want with him and you need his help to accomplish that goal.If nothing changes after this talk with him, then you have no other choice as much as you might love him.Wishing you the best.

I'm the same way I don't know if he feel the same way I do but I know how male is they don't care if you have a boy friend or not they still be trying you and you know it's true. I don't know if it's right or wrong, but I don't trust no male when it comes to my girlfriend. The best thing you can do is to reassure him that you want him and only him and that you not gone cheat.

sometimes you have to get rid of the things you love. hes not respecting you and he sounds very jealous and controling, you dont need that, when they tell you to give up your friends jump ship, you will find someone to love again and that someone will love you. theres many fish in the sea, you'll find the right guy when its time, but this guys not the one for you....

no u shoudnt break up with him yet.because u still love him and ur going to miss him in ur life. just tell him why do u have to stop talking to ur guy friend if u dnt even make him stop talking to any girls. tell him it wouldnt b fair and that you love him and you dont wana lose him.
