Okay so I was informed today that my soon to be mother in law doesn't like to speak english. I am a hispanic in nationality only, other than that i'm as white as they come! my fiance even calls me a redneck (no cruelty intended)! However last night he told me that when i meet his mother she will probably only speak to me in spanish. I don't understand spanish. I took four years of it and the extent of my spanish is still Yo quiero taco bell! is there a really good program for learning the language, or at least some way to fake it well enough that she doesn't make me look like a complete idiot. My guy loves his mother dearly, but he has no suggestions, only that i attempt to learn because she will do it even if he asks her not to. (gotta love mother in law's right?) Anyone have a similar situation? how did you handle it? What happens if i'm just too dense to learn another language? Any help would be appreciated!

I'm getting ready to turn 16. I just got my permit. I want to still be a kid. I want to be young and free. I want my mom to still drive me places. I wanna be a little kid that everyone thinks your so cute. I wanna still live in this house with my family.....I LOVE THIS PLACE AND BEING WITH MY FAMILY!!! I don't wanna leave from here. I'm the youngest one, my older brother is turning 20.... and b4 we know it we will be both moving out... My parents will eventually get old, and then life won't seem fun ne more. I'm so glad we are all healthy and want it to stay that way... I just want to stay in this time right here... but better yet I'd love to go back 9 years.... I know you guys probably think I'm a crazy phsyco, but I can't help how I feel. Every b-day since my 13th I've dreaded getting older. I spend some nights crying in bed.... it's bad! Life is going WAY TOO fast! But I sure don't want God to take life away or health, I just don'tknow what to do about how i feel..

I asked this girl out but she told me she got a bf. She was still sort of giving me signals though that she liked me asking me a lot of questions and starring at me when i was talking to her.

If i ran into her and asked her if she left her bf yet do u think she'll be turned on or turned off?

my mom wants to go back to my country. i dont wanna go. im really scared, because she always says that she will pack some things, and go away from my dad. i wanna stay with my dad because my mom cant take care of me. she always asks if like i have clothes, because well i dont really know but that scrares me too. people say i will get through this but i really cant. i dont know what to do. what if she really does pack some things and we will just get out of here. i wanna stay with my dad, he said he will take care of me. but hes pretty pissed off, because he has to pay the rent and bills all by himself. i dont know what to do. im really scared. because i forgot my language. i know perfect english and a few words of my language. what do i do? plz help..i really want this to end. i cant get through it. its not that easy. IM REALLY SCARED!

I met a beautiful young lady, a dream come true, however after a few months of dating and falling in love with her I found out she had extra baggage. She is married and never got a divorce. I was almost living with her. One day we received a call from the hospital saying that her long lost husband was ill and needed help. Being the person that she is she consented to take care of him and I went back to my own apartment. We however still date. She says she cannot divorce him in his time of extreme need. I just don't know what to do, I love her so much! She loves me also. What are we going to do? She even considered getting a divorce and marrying me however she feels that if she did this at this time her children and family would hate her for divorcing him now that he is seriously ill. I don't think anyone would mind considering all the things he took her and his family through! Such as abuse physical, mental, sexual, emotional and etc.

I have been talking to my fiance lately and he has said he wants some more space, but the thing is we only spend quality time together for a few hours an evening 6 days a week. We never see each other of a lunch time no more or in the mornings. But he says he wants more space but i dont understand how much space does he need all of my friends spend more time with their b/f than i do my fiance and unlike my friends me an my fiance do live together.

I also need him right now as i am panicking and worried about my job as my contract with my current employer ends in 3 weeks and i still haven't managed to find a job, so i do need his support but all of a sudden he is detaching himself saying he wants to be more independant than he already is and more space. And now i cant help but cry as i have no one whos cares bout hows bad i am feeling right now, I tried to speak to my older sister an all she said "sad to hear that sweet" an thats it. Can someone help with this as i do need him now

There is this girl that lives in my complex. We have spoken hey whats up a few times. Recently I have introduced myself to her and she was friendly as well about it. Im not gonna lie about this, each time i approach to her she has a smile on her face as i do. I just joined a band a few months ago.. We played lived in a bar with about 100 people..I was so nervous and scared out of my mind, my heart started skipping beats..We did 3 songs then our set was up...I sat down took a deep breath and everything was normal.. The next week we played live again and it did it again! What does this mean?

I've been with this guy for 2 years and 4 months. He's a great guy, good provider, has his moments where he's funny and charming and what not...but those moments are few and far between and most of the time, I feel like I'm in a relationship with a 4 year old. He's also very needy and clingy, and I'm not that type of girl...I need my space and time for myself. And just today, I had my foot hanging off of the side of the couch, and he grabbed it and BIT my Achilles Tendon (which I already have problems with)....Problem is, I really do love him and I don't want to hurt him. It's like there's an invisible person there, and it's not his imaginary friend, it's like he's actually talking to someone, yet nobody replies back, it's getting creepy, my mom thinks he's hallucinating, it's kind of scary too, HELP!!!!!! Oh, he's young too, 6-7 years old, and he's talking to someone about something, he even talks to them when i'm right next to him, I think something is wrong.

My ex-sister in law never knew her father. The parents were divorced before she was born, the mother schizophrenic and she and her older sister were brought up by their grandmother in England. The older sister went looking for the father. He was American and returned there after the divorce. The older sister found her grandfather, a retired policeman in Detroit who did not make her welcome and warned her not to persue her father. She did and discovered that he had remarried and had about 5 children, all grown up at the time. He had never told his wife or children about the first marriage. On meeting there newly discovered half sister only one of them showed any interest, he though, was adopted. The father, who shall remain nameless had a successful career as a weather anchor man on a local TV station. I think it's mean of him that he never tried to make contact with his British daughters. He is now dead.
