My wife and I have been together for 16 years and its been great. The last 5 years have been really good to us. We have two kids, my wife just finished a year of school, my job is going great, our family lived over seas for a year and 2 years ago we bought a nice house.
The problem is that my wife is "out shinning" her older sister. Her older sister is not married and has no boyfriend, her business does well and she enjoys spending money on vacations and expensive clothes. She only visits about 2 / year. She can be a lot of fun when not over run with jealousy.
Two years ago thier dad died and her sister talked their brother and my wife out of any inheritance. My wife just finished becoming a certified yoga instructor, her sister never showed an interest in yoga when my wife was going to yoga sessions but now her sister is now enrolled in the same course.
When she visits she pushes buttons nonstop and when she leaves we always fight. my wife does not want to confront her.

My sister submitted my story of alcoholism to the show INTERVENTION. They chose me, lied and said they were doing a student documentary, taped my personal life for a week, did the intervention with my family & I agreed to go to rehab in Flordia for 3 months. I sucessfully completed rehab & moved back to my L.A. Calif home clean & sober only to find they had cleaned out my apartment & moved ALL of my things to Florida because they do not want me to live in LA anymore. I have requested my sister to deliver my belongings to me but she wants me to pay. Can I take her to small claims court? This is a huge expense for me right now as I am on the verge of trying to rebuild my life sober. Oh, she is not satisfied at all by the way that I have completed the program sucessfully. She just wanted me back in florida where she lives- that was obviously her main objective. This doesnt seem fair. She has my clothes, computer, camera equip, guitars, EVERYTHING. Do I file small claims in LA or Florida?

One of my good guy friends is dating my one of my best friends. They have been together for about 7 months now. However, she started cheating on him about 3 months into the relationship and has continued to cheat on him ever since. He is so in love with her and she says she loves him too but I dont believe she does otherwise she wouldnt constantly cheat on him. Her close friends (including me) know about this, and no one has the guts to tell him. He has told me that sometimes he gets suspicious but he would never think she would cheat on him. I have come SO CLOSE so many times to telling him, but I haven't. She has threatened to make my life "a living hell" if I tell him. It would also break his heart but he constantly tells me to tell him anything he should "know of" meaning if she's cheating or not. They live an hour away so he gets suspiciouis. He said if I was a true friend I would not keep something like that from him. Idk what to do. Do I tell him? Do I keep lying to him?

I was recently invited to a shower and a wedding where the couple has no gift registry. They registered their honeymoon and in the shower invite it says in lieu of gift please donate to certain charities. This is a good friend of mine and I want to respect her wishes, but I can't imagine arriving at her shower empty handed. Also I don't find the honeymoon registry to be in good taste. They are a young couple and I know there are things they need. Would picking out a gift be rude? I am an artist so I could make them something to go along with a donation to the charity. Any ideas??

untill ten years ago i was very happy with friends round me i could trust that i had know for twenty years i then had a relationship at work and every body was supportive of this relationship but when this relationship ended ihad a nervous breckdown not because the relationship but because i got bullied out of my job and threated by one of his mates and iwalked out of my jobs to get away from this but my worked mates turned my own friends against me and they also started to bully me and then ihad to turn my back on them to get away from it since then i have had 2 jobs and bin married and divorced to aman who turn into a bullly but want i want ican.t seem to get back which is having people around me that i can trust and stay with me through thick and thin and will do nothing to hurt hurt me want can ido

im 15 and my grandma NEVER calls me. i havent seen her for two weeks. i call and there is no answer. i hate leaving a message. i really miss my grandma. she is always busy with her friends and everyday is wasted cuz i have nothing to do. im too scared to call her now. what should i do? im scared. but i left a message saying this:

well my boyfriend came to my house today in the morning then we went out of my house and he ask me if i wanted to go to his house so i said yes so i went to his house but my aunt stared to call his cell phone because she wanted to talk to me she call his cell phone like25 times she also called his brother and told him that she neede to talk to my boyfriend my boyfriend got mad and he told me that he was tired that every time we are together i always someone from my family has to call me because they want to talk to me even if is not an emergency they always call so he got mad today and ask me to decide between him and my aunt . i know that he had many rasons to get mad because his my boyfriend and he wants to spent time with me because we dont see each other all the time

I'm know this girl had a crush on me for 10 months during our school year, I talked to her on the phone a week after school got out, but I haven't talked to her for about 4 weeks later because I've been busy with summer school. I met this guy. He's 30 and im 18. I've known him for about a year and a half. I lost my virginity to him after about 4 months of "dating." He lives about 200 miles away. He barely ever calls me, and only comes to visit about once every two months. I feel like I'm insane because I'm so obsessed with him. When I'm with him he gives me SO much attention and makes me laugh. He's very handsome. But overall, obviously i feel like crap about staying with him.

I know this sounds CRAZY, but I can't get myself to dump him!
I tried doing it last summer, but i just ended up hooking up with him again. I feel like a different person when i'm around him - like im under a trance.

My self-esteem sucks, while he is the most confident person i've ever met. I feel like i try to feed off him, but im left feeling empty when he leaves for so long. I wish i could be like him so i didnt want him.

Any advice, no matter how brutally honest, would help so much.

Or somethin like that. Well let me tell you a story. My Cousin was kinda pressured into having sex by her boyfriend Who was 15 in she was 13 At the time, Well He had another girl pregnant at the time In my cousin didn`t know that.! well what i don`t get is that why do guys In girls Pressure there Boyfriend or girlfriend into having sex!? Everytime a guy likes me, I usually like them back, but then a day later I feel really weird about it..almost guility. I stop talking to them, ignore them and end up not liking them anymore. Our 13 yr old daughter is totally obsessed with them. I think they are egotistical and attention seeking jerks! The lead singer has had a chequered self abuse history, they are dark, they sing of blood, murder, hanging, suicide, death, vampires.........well the list goes on. I understand she loves their music, I think a few songs are quite catchy but I just don't like the influence on her at such a young age. My boyfriend and I live together and have been dating for 4 years now. I have never been with a girl, but the curiosity is overwhelming for me. I'm extremely attracted to girls (just as much as guys) and I feel like I need to experiance that side of my life to be complete.

My boyfriend understands this and told me that if I find a girl, I can date her to see what it's like. He won't leave me for it, and he doesn't have to join with me or anything like that. He just understand my needs.

yesterday my 16 yr old granddaughter visited me and she told me that she was planning to commit suicide later this week, but before she told me she made me promise not to let anyone she knows find find out. Now in life, I may have lied, cheated(board games) and even stole before but I have never EVER broken a promise nor do I plan to. Once back in 'Nam I had 9 men under my command, me and Srgt. Wolmers, A fellow Sergeant in the war decided to set camp outside a POW camp, Wolmers said that he and his men would take the night watch, when I woke up the next morning Srgt Wolmers and his men were gone along with most of our ammo, leaving me and my men to be captured, the night before I had promised him that i would eat a steak dinner with him, a year and a half ago i found Srgt. Wolmer's grave(in Virginia) told the mortician my story and ate that steak dinner with him, that man left me for dead but i held my promise, so what I'm really asking for is a loophole

I have a friend that is going through a nasty divorce. He kicked her and her 4 children out of the home. She had no choice but to move in with her sister and her husband. Now her brother-in-law 14 YEARS AGO had statutory rape charges against him. (He was 18 and a female friend told him that she was 18 too but she was only 15) He did his time and all the other required things. He has not been in trouble since then. Can her sister's soon to be ex husband use that against her in court to get custody of the children.
