im 15 and my grandma NEVER calls me. i havent seen her for two weeks. i call and there is no answer. i hate leaving a message. i really miss my grandma. she is always busy with her friends and everyday is wasted cuz i have nothing to do. im too scared to call her now. what should i do? im scared. but i left a message saying this:
hi nancy, this is alyssa.
im sorry to bother you.
but i was wondering if you
wanted to do something together.
i havent seen you for a while and
i really miss you. well...
call me back when you can. okay bye.
is this a polite message? its been a whole day and no call! i feel like an idiot. i was talking fast too and sounded nervous!

you call your grandma by her name?.. my grandma would of left me with no teeth..
well you can do other things with your friends && stuff..
shes just enjoying life with her friends.. do you get me? its like shes reliving her teenage yrs ... i would let my grandma do her own thing.. if it makes her happy.. i can always find something to do =)
and i guess it is a polite message.. u didnt say anything bad except invite her to hang out with you
hope she returns your call && you girls go do something funn =)

Your message is fine - maybe she is away and not getting the message. Just tell her you want to spend the day with her before going back to school. Never feel like an idiot - you are not one. You are a teenager that loves her grandmom.

Your message is polite, and don't feel like an idiot. You have know real reason to. Keep trying to call, she may be busy like you said or feels it is to late to call you when she do get home. Keep calling, she'll answer.

That was more than polite. Why in the world would she ignore you? Have you had problems with her like this before? And if so, maybe just maybe she is not worth your time. I know that sounds harsh but family really should come first.

uhm the best i can say is to wait for ur grandma to call u back. but its only two weeks. its been almost over a month since ive seen my parents, my grandparents, my friends, my pets, and most of my family. and i really miss them. but i guess the way ive coped is emailing them and calling them. just either email her or wait for her to return her call.

wow that's really sweet that you care about your grandmother like that. well you might try leavig a few more messages so she knows that you care about her. if she is still ignoring your calls, you should probably leave it be. because it is pretty hard to talk to someone who doesn't want to talk.

First she should appreaceate that you care so much about her. I would love it if someone cared that much about me to call everyday (not saying i don't just an example) God bless you, not many kids/ grandkids care that much anymore!
