If you say your friend is that much overweight then secretly she does know it. Your friend could be in denial as she may see her weight as her safety and comfort zone. weight problems can be linked to psychological and emotional trauma.
What your friend needs is guidance and professional support which you could lead her into the right direction ,but you must be tact full and compassionate yet truth full, but not in the way you advertised.
I will save you from a tongue lashing(although you do deserve it!! ) however I will say maybe your friends weight is more about your feelings and may have triggered a nerve psychologically.. Sort your self out before you condemn your friend.

Now if she is your friend how can you even say stuff like that about her?
And you should tell her, that she is a bit on the large side of life, and she should loose a bit of weight, but be nice about it, don't just go to her and say your fat loose it!! or summat like that.
Tell her how you see her and how that others see, her and explain to her that you are doing it for her benefit, and tell her that you will stand by her, and help her through her diet, or what ever.
And just make sure that you do stand by her and help her, through it.
Hope this helps

I think her main concern should be her "friend", who is obviously a very insecure person, probably
due to her own image, and I think you should advise her to speak to her " friend" and get her to seek mental health advise, asap. Whether it be for physical or mental medical help. Very sad story. You are, whether you believe it or not, not her friend, but enemy. My guess is that you are completely jealous of your friend, and find belittling her satisfying. You need to understand, and except, that SHE IS the one with the looks and personality, and you will never have that, ever, but can try to improve your personality, by understanding people are better than you.
best wishes,

noo u should never tell a friend something like that!
what i would do is...
give her hints.
like i would invite her to come workout at the gym with me.
and id invite her to go on walks with me.
and id invite her over for dinner or to picnics and id bring healthy food.
after a while maybe shell get into the habit.
but never ever tell ur friend that she makes blind kids cry!
if my friend told me that, i would never talk to her ever again.

Honey if it bothers you so much why do you still her friend? If she is OK with the way she looks why does it bother you so much? Don't you have better things to do? Like invite her to join you for a morning walk or invite her to dinner and serve a healthy dinner.....Boy get a life and let your "friend" alone.....

First when I read your question I was offended then I smiled. Your friend may be very happy with her size not all big people are insecure and want to be a stick or thinner. You could say that you are concerned about her health or how she cares for herself if that is how you feel!? You sound more embarrassed about her appearance maybe you should be honest with your friend about how you feel rather then insulting.

ok first of all i dont think you can comprehend how ridiculous you sound. you say shes your friend when in fact it is a one way friendship. she confides in you and you turn on her and make fun of her for everyone to see...you are no friend....a true friend doesnt judge on any basis...i think you should keep your thoughts to yourself...if not you may end up hurting someone and it will come back to you in the long run

No best to sort out some stuff for you first. Namely, plastic surgery, brain transplant and reversal of your personality bypass first.

They don't need friends like you. As long as they are happy, you should be happy for them. And if you see them the way you do, think maybe they are better off without friends like you!!

at least she's got the opportunity to diet!
i know an ignorant f*ckwit who thinks he's smart.
he's got such a small p*nis he has to belittle others to make him feel better. should we all tell him now or let him figure it out for himself? or let him make normal humans weep?
