No, I do not cook every night.
Yes, he expects to eat dinner every night. So do I as a matter of fact.
Sometimes I cook, sometimes he does, sometimes we eat out.

Good question. I'm only 20 and have a one year old son, so i'm just stepping into the housewife world. at the beginning we would fight over the fact that I dont cook every night.....now I try to cook when I can but it's not an every night thing. But when I do cook he has learned to be greatful....I train well...lol...jk....But now he is away on the weekdays for work and only comes home on the weekends....so it's a little harder to cook for him cause we are always busy on the weekends....but I make sure my son and myself are fed and that's what counts!

I know you're asking for women's opinions, but I'll give my two cents. When I was living with my ex, I didn't expect her to cook. She often did, because she got home before me, but that was never expected. I think we probably shared it about half-and-half, and that's what I would expect out of any future relationship. It's supposed to be an equal partnership, right?
Of course, I kind of enjoy cooking, so maybe my expectations aren't the same as most men.

I cook most nights, he does the outside grilling and seafood dishes...............but I don't work, he does. He does not expect me to cook, but he appreciates it, so I like to do it for him. Plus we eat out dinner on average of once a week. If you both work, than make out a schedule, let him know wht nigts you will be cooking and so forth. If that's not okay, tell him where the closest McDonalds is.

No and no. I cook a lot, but we often have leftovers or go out to dinner. I enjoy cooking, but I don't want to be cooking every night.

I try to cook every night. Sometimes I cook enough to have leftovers. He doesn't expect it but I do it because I love him. He appreciates it and does the dishes afterwards.

I often do the cooking, since my husband works late and I'm at home writing my master's thesis. He does expect something every night - but not the world's finest dishes. I'm okay with it - and he often cooks during the weekends.

LOL, no I actually work full time while he goes to school. He cooks, cleans, and does the laundry. All I have to do is pay bills, fold clothes, keep bathrooms clean, and keep his bed warm. lol. I don't expect him to cook every night as long as there is some kind of food coming, I don't care, whether it is whataburger, or going out to eat.

1) No, but I try to, I really like cooking.
2) Nope, he is thankful every time! And usually if I cook he will wash the dishes and vice versa.
