I've never been spanked by my parents. But a few days ago, I was at my friends house. Her little sister, who is 13, was being a brat, so her mom gave her a spanking with a wooden spoon. But she was crying and screaming during the spanking... do spankings hurt tha much? I wouldn't think so. Anyway, I was just wondering.

Hello Everyone,

Is it odd for someone to still want to be friends with you even though you have told them that you, as a friend, have developed romantic feelings for them? Wouldn't that make the situation awkward? What could this person be thinking (this has happened to me and I am not sure whether or not to continue the friendship with this person, as I have already expressed my romantic interest and asked not to talk to this person anymore)?

I have a little brither who seam to get what ever he wants, and my dad being an only parent and all seams to give it all to him. I think that it is unfair to me and him, because if my brother grows up think that he will get what he wants just by wineing he's going to end at house sleepig on my couch, and it is unfair to me because I need some thing more then whant my brother needs, and I don't want him to end up on my couch. My dad tells him to start asking like a 12 year old and stop acting like a 2 year old.

We are moving from Michigan to Minnesota, we would have to rent a place with at least 4 bedrooms, because my grandparents live with us, and we would need to find jons in Minnesota before we move there because obviously we are going to need to put food on the table and a roof over our head! Why do some guys tell everyone but you that they like you. I am in my mid 20's and still don't get why some guys my age, prefer to tell everyone else around me that they like me, instead of telling me themselves. Why do some guys do this? Why don't they just approach women directly? Don't they realize that every women is secretly waiting to be sweept off her feet (let's not lie here ladies). I have a 3mo. old son and the father is married and stationed in Iraq. He has not even called me to even find out if the birth went ok. He has made it clear that he doesn't care about me at all and that he just wants to make things right with his wife. Now mind you, I had no idea of his situation before I got pregnant. I called and told his wife the situation because he was stalling, and she forgave him and stayed with him. That's all fine, but he doesn't even call to check on his son. Mainly because I believe his wife threatened to leave. I can't even get in touch with him. If anybody has any suggestions, please let me know, I would greatly appreciate it.

ok, i HAD this friend who i was really cool with ,now we dont talk because of her boyfriend . At first her and her boyfriend and i use to go out everywher. But after a while her boyfriend just became obsess with me , he use to just buy airline tickets without telling me and would give them to me and say that we were going to brazil , boston , new york , he wasted a lot of money because i never went anywhere with him. I suffer from illnesses,and due to some reasons,was ineligble for disability,but im not able to work.I have been in a bad abusive marriage for 4 yrs.I am legally blind,cant drive and am totally dependent on my husband.I have no family to help me out,he wants me to leave and move to my mothers but i have a terrible mold allergy and my mothers house has tons of mold and last time i got terribly sick there,plus i have a slipped disc in my back and when its at its worst i cant walk.no one is there to help care for me,and my husband has abused me,now he saying he doesnt want me anymore cuz I cant do anything and he hates me he wants to live alone,.we fight daily it has become physically abusive,and ive nearly had a nervous breakdown,i do not want to live in a shelter for homeless people,im scared,confused,cant stop crying and above all else my health problems have become intol

Okay so the other day me and my friend were talking and we got into asking questions like these to each other, if your married, can you answer some of these?
1.- If you are married to a man but you don't have any kids do you still get him a card for Father's Day?
2.- If you are pregnant and married do you get your husband a card for Father's Day?
3.- Why does everybody hate their mother-in-laws?

I overheard my grandma bragging to her friends about getting some "action" the other night with my grandpa.

i was wondering if this was normal.

i mean, they are 70 and 72 years old and my grandpa can barely walk! he is like 400 pounds and sorry to say this grandpa but hes very fat and he is about 6'2 in height! my grandma happens to be about 5'2 and she is no more than 120 pounds. i mean how are they supposed to do that!

i mean what possible position can keep my grandpa from crushing my poor grandma!!!

Especially if you want to make things better in your marriage, can't being too truthful end up hurting more than helping? I still do love him, but he just has been so insensitive this past year and I am tired of sounding like a broken record. You can only have so many 'talks' with someone--I'm starting to think that he'll just never change. I'm tired of being w/ the kids 24/7 while he's off doing other things. He is a good dad, but he just doesn't truely appreciate all that I do. Example: it's Sat. night and I am home alone w/ the children while he's out fishing...again. I guess I just don't feel #1 on his priority list and I'm getting to the point where I am caring/crying less and less about the whole situation.

I have been with my husband for 13 years married for 12 and the sex has steadily been going doewnhill, he has to be in one postion, and it freaking hurts, having sex with him is very very painful, so I have to use lotions so he can get to the point where he can do his business so he does not rub himsellf raw as it is quite painful, and nothing is going to accomidate him, when I am in pain, I have tried to get him to go in other positions and it does not work, so we end up in the same one, so I put off having sex for like months at a time, and he is constintly asking for it, I use every excuse, HELP!!! He really gets annoyed with black people. He says that their lazy, they stink, etc. And I get pretty angry when he says these things. I want to tell him that those things arent true, but he isn't the kind where u sit him down and talk. He's as stubborn as a mule! I want to tell him not only black people do these things, every single race does this!!! There are good black ppl, and bad ones. Good hispanics, bad hispanics, good white ppl, bad white ppl, etc. Hell, we came back from the beach today, and a couple of black kids gave us the birdie while he was driving. Maybe he thinks this becuase we live in a city in NJ thats FULL of bad black ppl and he automatically thinks every black ppl is the same. He's wrong. I know just alittle bit of good black ppl. We just dont see alot here. How can I tell him?

Ok i'm sort of seeing this girl who has a boyfriend I lover her alot but i know she will never leave her boyfriend and we could really never have anything more than just sex. Her and her friend stop being friends for some reason but her friend and I have always flirted. He is such a fool. I gave a guy I like my number and he gave me his. We known each for about 3 years but we haven't reach the level were are exactly friend.
