I've never been spanked by my parents. But a few days ago, I was at my friends house. Her little sister, who is 13, was being a brat, so her mom gave her a spanking with a wooden spoon. But she was crying and screaming during the spanking... do spankings hurt tha much? I wouldn't think so. Anyway, I was just wondering.

Depends who's doing it, how hard they spank, what with, whether it's on the bare bottom, and so on. But a wooden spoon can certainly sting like hell, especially on the bare. On the other hand, your friend's sis has probably worked out that the louder she yells the sooner the spanking's going to stop....
If you really want to know, though, why not get your b/f to give you a spanking? And who knows, you may even find you enjoy it.

13 and being spanked? She's too old for that.
They hurt, but if she was screaming bloody murder than she's just a drama queen.
I was spanked as a kid and it was always by my dad. This wasn't normal spanking though, it was abuse so that's different.
My youngest sister got spanked too but it was never that hard and she would SCREAM sooo loud. One time the neighbors even called the cops! She was and still is totally over-dramatic about everything though.
So that 13 year old girl is just being a drama queen probably.

it stings for a while, but there is no real damage from the spanking itself, the real damage is emotional, you feel embaressed, enraged, like all of the injustice in the world has fallen on you. and you resent your parents for not feeling your pain. the spankings never really bothered me when i was a kid but looking back i realize that my character was built through the rare trips to church than through the spankings at home.

Yep, for sure.... i guess try hitting yourself as hard as you can... cos thats the same effect....
I guess for me as a kid, the most integral part of it was the emotional blow... i grew up with a really low self esteem and i was really timid... feeling i couldnt do anything without being told off or spanked by my parents (they really abused spanking as a punishment when i was a kid) even now im feeling the effects of it.

at 13 thats awful it hurts really bad but the last time i got a spanking i was 7 but when i was 13 all my mom did was ground me it hurts really bad what is wrong with with your friends mom

It hurts your feelings more than anything and your screaming because you cant get away with it anymore. It only stings for aminute...Its all an act of embarrassment on the one whos being spanked thats all.

You bet your A** they do!!!! Lol. Na I never got spanked before. I don't think it could be that bad though. I have broken bones and even got a nail stuck through my foot. So it can't hurt that bad.

As long as the spanking was on the rear-side I dont see any problem with that.
Now on to the question...
Yes, it would hurt. Usually the smaller the item the more it will hurt.
