different things work for different people. as long as both of you are happy thats all that matters.

i don't think it's a good idea to start a long distance relationship, whether it's online or not, especially when you guys have hooked up just once. that's the problem. there's not a good basis or solid foundation. you can't find trust just yet when all you know is that he calls you beautiful. sure, it sounds good and makes you happy but not the "go-ahead" to start a long distance relationship. give it time. don't jump into it. start off talking more, getting to know each other and then decide from there.

Don`t do it, he could be the person he is but, or he could be someone he isn`t. Long distance relationships are depressing too...you don`t see the person much in person.
I knew somebody who was so nice & everything to one of my friends on the internet. She really liked him, but then found out he was cheating on her with this other girl on the computer.
Dating on the internet is also dumb because people don`t act the same as in real life. Personalities are so much more different, that if you ever did meet them, you probably wouldn`t like them.

I have had a few long distance relationships and it is really hard. If he tells you that your beautiful, do you believe him? If not, then maybe you should get to know each other a little better. Is it possible for you two to hang out together? You can only get to know a person by their personality and environment. Take it slow and see what you think.

i know that you know him already but you still have To be careful with Internet relationships....
not saying that either one of you would or are doing this but hear me out....
What happens to a person that gives everything to this relationship, because a person feels as though this is the only relationship that i have... however, the other person doesn't take it that seriously, compliments them sends them E-FLOWERS and builds up this nice rapport with this person. But the other person doesn't see that relationship as intimate as the other,,, that can hurt. They can work...but you guys need to establish what the relationship means to the both of you before anyone gets hurt. remember 95% of relationships are based on communication. Hope this helps.

There really is no way of knowing that until you've spent a lot of time with him. Some people do mean it and some people don't. If he seems overly generous with the compliments than perhaps he isn't as sincere.
But if you've met in person and you enjoy each other's company enough that you want to stick with it, I see no reason why he wouldn't mean it.

My friend did that. They talked for a year on the internet, and ended getting married. Now a few months into it they are not so happy. I think in ways they both painted the pic with a little more color then it really has.. But you know anything can work. Listen to your heart on this one, you know best!

you hooked up once? You can tell a lot from an initial meeting but all this is fake. You really do need to have more face to face contact. The internet is good but you cannot see face reactions ect.
Good luck with whatever you do.

Not tryin to discourage you, but you have to be careful, its bad enough you got preverts all in people face but the internet is roaming with weirdos. Love has no limit but you just dont want to do nothing harmful.
