My dad's rasict- and it pisses me off?

He really gets annoyed with black people. He says that their lazy, they stink, etc. And I get pretty angry when he says these things. I want to tell him that those things arent true, but he isn't the kind where u sit him down and talk. He's as stubborn as a mule! I want to tell him not only black people do these things, every single race does this!!! There are good black ppl, and bad ones. Good hispanics, bad hispanics, good white ppl, bad white ppl, etc. Hell, we came back from the beach today, and a couple of black kids gave us the birdie while he was driving. Maybe he thinks this becuase we live in a city in NJ thats FULL of bad black ppl and he automatically thinks every black ppl is the same. He's wrong. I know just alittle bit of good black ppl. We just dont see alot here. How can I tell him?

I'm sure there are good black people in New Jersey.

You may not be able to change your father, but you've already started with yourself and hopefully, one day, you will pass your non-prejudice opinion of people to your children.

Either tell your father that you don't want to hear those disgusting things coming out of his mouth or when he starts in on his uneducated tirades, you walk out of the room or potentially leave the house.

Most importantly, learn from your father's bad behavior and do not repeat it.
