I gave a guy I like my number and he gave me his. We known each for about 3 years but we haven't reach the level were are exactly friend. I don't know how to describe our relationship, anyhow, I finally got his number, he got mine. He said I'm glad you did that. Then I told him to call me when he finished studying for an important exam. He first said "ok, I will try, but if I don't means I am hiding." So my question is will he call? Any hope he may call sooner? Would it be wrong if I called within 2-4 days after he took his exam? Any guys out there...I could use the help. I don't want to be too aggressive! Thank you.

sorry am no guy here but time have changed and there's no harm making the first move.

if you feel hurt by doing so, slavage it later but dont lose the chance now.

Well, as you can see, I am not a guy. But, I happen to know that it's almost a guy rule for guys not to call until sometime after 3 days. Or maybe it was too easy for him. He sounds like a nice guy, and Good Luck!!!

Why not just send him a text to ask how his exams went?
If he doesn't reply (immediately) doesn't mean he doesn't want to talk, just means he's hiding. Don't pressurise him, just send a friendly text saying something along the lines of 'hi, how did your exams go?' blah blah blah.

Good Luck

It sounds like he told you that he wasn't going to call you. I'd let it go.
