Am i wrong for being upset with my husband for getting drunk yesturday and not going to pick our 5 month old from daycare, granted that i could still pick him up when i got off of work because my husband gets off before me, but his routine is to pick the baby up when he gets off. He says he had no intention of drinking he was only going to play a few games of madden then go get the baby but his friends gave him a cup and he figured he would only have one and one turned into 2 and so. But my argument was that he shouldnt have drank anything knowing that he had to pick up our son...am i wrong for telling him that, because he seems to think that everyone makes mistakes, but i dnt think that was a mistake he should have made...what do u think???

My b/f isn't a huge pot smoker but he does do it a couple times a week. My mom knows about this but doesnt mind to much she just thinks i can do better. We've been dating for 3 years now and he knows his drug use bothers me and has tried to quit a couple times and it works for awhile but then when he's with his friends he ends up calling me stoned out of his mind. Should i leave him or stay and try to work it out?

Okay, so my ex bf and I stopped talking in the beginning of the year due to not seeing eye to eye. Last week, he started calling and hanging around me. He said he missed the way we used to be: lovers, friends, etc. I told him I still had feelings for him and would like to start over and work on us, our old relationship, and myself too. So he says "I have feelings for u too but I have body needs and if I'm not getting it from u, then...." you know the rest( he'll get it elsewhere). Then he says "U can see who u want just dont tell me about it." So I got mad because while we were hanging out last week, he was kissing me and holding my hand, things like that. So I told him we can be strictly friends, nothing more but he was still trying to say he would like to see me and etc. What in the hell is going on? I'm super confused. Is he in it for sex or is this the way guys really are? Enlighten me people!!

I am 34 and defiantly a Xer. I simply do not like baby boomers. They are very high on themselves and their generation but I can not see any of the great things they have done. As a generation if I had to generalize in one word about them it would be that they were Selfish. They have viewed the world in terms of power, money, and things. The ironic part is they truly believe in their generation’s greatness and how much better they have made the world for everyone else. I believe as time passes they will go down as a generation that sold their kids and grandkids tomorrow for their today. The Xers are truly a generation searching for the “something more” in life. We like the money, power, and things but are a little less sure if we are willing to purse it at any cost. Xers are not team players and a generation that has definitely bought into the idea that if you do not feel good or look good there is a medical treatment for it. In many ways we are not so different than the baby boomers except that we know the evils of that way and are not sure if we care enough to do anything about it. The Gen Yers, well who knows. They are seem to be less like the Baby boomers than the Xers but it is too early to tell what they will do.

We've known each other for three years and have been married for two and a half years. I've given him pens (he loves nice pens), clothes (he likes to wear name brand products), and shoes (he's a jogger and loves nice durable shoes) for just about every birthday. My wedding is 28 days from today, from one bride to another, how far in Advance to you suggest getting the following done?

* A Brazillian Wax Or Bikini (Havent decided which yet)
*Full Set of Nails with French Manicure
*Pedicure
*Re-doing my highlights

The only reason Im asking is because I have to drive an hour away to get these services done, I live in the country, and I've never had Acrylic Nails or a Wax done before, so I am unsure of when to get these done.

I am getting married at the end of this month and would like my name to be changed as of the date of the wedding. How long before I can change my name on my checking account, bills, etc.? 10 year marriage failed and back out there and I hate it. I go out with my friends time and time again and each time is worse than the last. Don't get me wrong I love hanging out with my friends I'm just done with the scene. I have family members (grandmother and aunt) that are pressuring me to settle down. However, I do not want to settle for just anyone like they did. I have been through a couple of relationships that did not end well and I am not sure about getting involved with someone. When I have dated it has been people I have just ran into or setups. None of them worked out for one reason or another. I have decided to work on my career and volunteer for different organizations. I would rather volunteer my time to people that would appreciate it. Is it wrong to give up and just start thinking about yourself? I am all for falling in love with someone but I am not going to force it. Why don't they understand?

recently found out that my younger sister was sexually abused by a family member between ages 3-10. She told me. I was devastated she said she had forgiven the person and wants me to do the same. I comforted her and of course told her I still love her & that it was not her fault.
She has been living with me for five years. Abuse took place prior to her living with me. Two days ago i was told that my childs father also sexually molested her twice within a three years time span. My childs father and i are not 2gether any more. Broke up 3 years ago.
I am hurting so much right now. Scared that he has probably molested our daughter. don't know where to start or what to do. why didn't my sis tell me what was going on?

I am currently going through a divorce. I have been married for 5 years and my ex and I are mutual. I haven't asked for spousal support or child support and we agreed on everything. You can say we are having a really easy divorce. Our children dont seem to be affected by it at all.

I am currently dating this guy and I really like him, but for some reason I can stop dreaming about my ex. Is this normal? Is it because sub-conscientiously I want my ex back or is it because I am used to him; being with him for 5 years.
