Why do old men date young women?
Besides the old assumtion of the girl not having a good father figure?

for them to come and stay in, would you be angry?
Now I really don't want them to come and stay and I'm fairly annoyed about this.

Would any girls date a man who is closed-minded in the fact that he doesn't believe in abortion, nor evolution, nor that being gay is right?

Has anyone married someone who believes opposite of them (in areas such as those listed above)? If so, how did the marriage turn out? More specifically, did anyone marry someone who believed that abortion or being gay was ok? If so, how did that turn out?

If children were involved, please let me know how they turned out....were they rebelious, did they have a "preferred" parent (if so, which one)....etc.

The last two days have been awful for me. It just seems like everything that can go wrong has. I don't get upset to often but this morning I had all I could take and finally blew up at my husband. I told him my life was so much easier before we got married. I didn't mean what I said at all, it was just a combination of things and I needed to vent. Well to make a long story short, I have appologized to him several times, but I still feel awful, does anyone have any suggestions on something I can do to show him that I am truly sorry and didn't mean what I said?

I have been with my fiance for 4 years this September, and have been engaged for almost a year. I am 19 and my fiance is 23. We have two dogs, our own cars, we OWN our own brand new house, and we have lots of nice things (all of which we paid for on our own by working). We travel, and we take at least one big vacation a year. We are also both in college finishing our degrees. So can anyone tell me why people keep insisting that we are still too young to get married? People just keep saying that we are missing out on things. What are these "things" that people think we are missing out on? We spend time with each other, and our friends and families, we go and have fun, both by ourselves and with each other. Can someone please explain to me what these people are talking about?

Background: Here's the story, I'm married to my wife for 10 years and have 3 kids. We have a married couple that are neighbors and their kids and our kids are friends. My wife is a nurse so she is home during the day alot.

Anyway, my wife and the my neighbor's husband have been talking on the phone for about 3 years now and their monthly minutes reach about 1,000. I've expressed my displeasure to my wife about it and she says they are just friends. I say that is OK, but 1000 minutes is like 30 minutes every day. Anyway, this guy is also in sales and my neighbor has seen his truck in my driveway during the day when I'm at work. When I told my wife about this she said that he stopped by a couple of times.

So I bump up our cell plan to 2000 minutes and tell the wife that she better never go over this... One month I see my bill higher so I go on-line and download my bill information. (This is when I started noticing 1000+ minutes per month to/from this guy)

I am astounded by the reaction of my husband since i have left him and am going to divorce him for abusive behavior. He is writing to me poems...recipes...asking how i am .....giving me little quips about his day......I think he is on the ''hunt'' as i have escaped from his grasp and he is trying to lure me into his trap to ''cook'' me in the end. Am i correct? It is the first time he has ever been so ''romantic'' and caring since we first met. I fell for his ''lines'' then and suffered, so i am not making the same mistake again. I am an older and wiser woman now and not that young silly naive girl he captured before..what do you think?

Ok so my sister married an awesome guy and I want to get THEM (not just her) a great gift since I had a ridiculous 2006. To give some background, both of these fools love the outdoors and aren't about flash in anyway. They are huge travelers (Africa is their honeymoon) but both of them are very well prepared. They already have all the things they could want or need associated with whatever they are doing (e.g. already have bikes, camping gear, travel gear, ski gear, golf gear, bouldering gear...). I need to go outside of the box for this uncoventional two and I am willing to lay down up to $5k to make sure they get the best. Anyone have any ridiculously original ideas? Thanks in advance!

i moved to a new city lasted year. this yr has been really hard. like my mom and dad have chaged alot. like my dad is getting mad to easyily. i'll get hit if i tell my little sister to please leave me alone i don't want to here it. so like one day i got so mad. and i ran away. i was gone for like 3 hours. then my dad found me. he was y i lefted. he was driving so he stopped the car. and he yelled my name. he was so mad.then he got out of the car and and ran to me. i was scaryed at first i was thing he was gonna hit me or something. he did. but he huged me first. then not hit but he spanked me really really hard. then a few mins after he hugged me after words. and he was like. "thats bout how much pain i was in when u lefted! can't u tell i love u! god! ur a idoit at times." then he huged me. i cryed sofly.i was said sorry to him throw. then after words he was talking to me on y i ran away. he called me a sweetie. that he loves me.

I live in a VERY small town and recently found a castle about 4 hours from where I live in a much larger city. It is very reasonably priced for the ceremony and reception all in the castle and it's absolutely beautiful. Problem is, my fiance would rather not get married there because he thinks most of our guests won't show up. My close friends who I've mentioned this to say they will definitely be there, and since most of our guests live out of the state anyway, I think that it's really not that much of a difference to them. Those ones pry wouldn't have shown up anyway. I understand his concern but at the same time I know it would be a dream come true to get married in a castle! And I'll only have a wedding once, I want it to be beautiful. I realize it's more of the love for your partner than the actual location, but I just think it would be so beautiful. And if we get married in our home town, the church he's picked out isn't that nice in my opinion. Opinions please?

Im 28, quite pretty, a nice person etc but I have been single for (dont laugh) 7 years (have had a few flings though) and although Im not desperate I would really like a partner. I dont like pubs so dont go there to meet blokes but I dont know what else to do. I see nice blokes but they are always in a relationship or they arent interested and the ones who are interested in me are only after one thing. What am I doing wrong and what can I do?

What is about a nice guy that turns you off. Women always say that there are no good men out there. The fact is that their are plenty of good men out there, they just don't want them.Women always go straight to the guy who don't care anything about them. I've been in a relationship where I treated my girl like a queen and in the end I got screwed. So should I start acting like other guys or should I continue to be a nice guy because I think I'm done being nice. Not worth it.
