Why do old men date young women?
Besides the old assumtion of the girl not having a good father figure?

because older woemn are too smart for all their false flattery and lies and younger women just wanted a good time as old men probabaly has more money to spend on them !

I always thought the man dates a younger women because of the beauty of youth.
Women date an older man because he is more mature than a younger man and more able to provide a strong financial future?. Older men often treat a lady better than a younger mam.

Different reasons really.. Experience in the male..Males mature slower than woman, so when we need someone on our level we choice the older guy.. Men do at time choose older woman but that would make her a lot more maturer than him. So here the reverse of what you said.. mother figure. I think its mostly based on maturity.. theres also the male that chooses the younger females solely on her looks and sex appeal. Those relationships dont always last that long.. cant think why lol.

I'm guilty of doing this.
Guilty, guilty, guilty!
Although, to be fair, when I was in grade school, I really was hot for this high school chick.
And even through high school and college, I dated a lot of chicks older than me.
But after college, it just kind of switched to younger chicks.
Why the attraction?
I don't know...maybe it was me, stuck in some juvenile mode where I could talk to them and not older women?
Maybe because I found them very willing and open to trying new things and being spontaneous?
Perhaps because they laughed at my jokes and enjoyed watching me do crazy things?
Anyway - I really love ALL women, of all ages, shapes, sizes and color.

Men wanting to hold onto their own youth. Women like to feel taken care of and an older man can often times give them that security they are looking for.

The girls want older guys because they say: "Guys my age are too immature." And the guys want younger girls because, lets face it, a 20 year old girl is usually hotter than a 35 year old woman.
I have the opposite problem: I'm too mature for girls my age...

Older women have more negatives in their lives than younger ones, usually. That may not be a fair assessment, but it is pretty accurate.

The prostate does one thing, it creates a fluid for sex. If the guy stops having sex then the prostate atrophies and you get cancer. 50 and 60 year old women don't like to have sex like 25 year olds. He is saving himslef from cancer.

I think old guys like to think that they're still attractive and can still date beautiful women. And we all know why young
women date old guys.....$$$$$ usually, I'd say.

because younger women are still trying to find their way and their place in the world and are more easily controlled and manipulated--by and large. Now there are some exceptions...
