How can I make her stop? It's been like 6 years now, she still doesn't realize I don't give a crap about celebrities or Coach handbags.

Maybe you SHOULD care. I mean, I know it's frustrating but maybe these things mean something to HER....and if that's the case, then you should listen. If that doesn't work, start telling her every gory detail of guy things - like car talks, sports, etc. When she says something, say "sweetie, I know you don't care about those things....I just wanted to prove a point. I love you and want to hear about the things that are really important to you but I'm not interested in hearing about fashion and celebrities! That's what you have your girlfriends for."

I'm sure you were expecting some bombardment from the fairer sex when you asked your question. Seems like you got it.
When I want to get wifey to quit talking (or complaining to me about me), I give her a big wet french kiss. Then, one thing leads to another and I end up doing all the talking... well, more like ordering than talking.
She's catching on though, so I tell her I can't hear her with all the pheromones in my system.

Listen, you are the man! So when you get home look her in her good eye and say, "Woman, I'm the King of this castle and I don't want to hear nothing about anything cause I'm too cheap and selfish to take care of your desires". But wait a minute don't stop there.....start crying and say how much you hate yourself and how that you wish that you weren't even born. If this doesn't works, then go get a 2nd job and start taking better care of your woman!!!!

OK, this has been a problem for me too. It's not that you don't love her, it's not that you don't care about things, but this stuff really starts to feel like pestering after awhile! I know!
I had a long talk with my wife. I told her I loved her and said I really want to know things that affect her life. Talking about areas that don't interest me at all feel like she's throwing pebbles at my brain and she needs to also consider what I'm interested in before she carries on.
She has become more aware and slowed down since that time. I also encouraged her to talk to another female about the trivial pursuit stuff, because they really seem to have more tolerance for it.

You married her and now you have to deal with her. Get off line and tell her you are seeking a better conversation topic from her and give her examples of your interest. You will have to talk to her about her interest as well, This is a two person conversation. Just tolerate it and move on. Most men learn to tone out the irritating conversations of their women. Obviously, you are an insensitive boor! Your poor wife is probably very lonely and just needs adult companionship and conversation which she is missing in her life. I would suggest you pay a little more attention to her needs; maybe take her to visit friends or family, or some other adult outing, etc. You could listen to her and then talk to her about things that interest you. This is called having a conversation!

Start talking to her about stuff you know she won't be interested in. Or maybe you could change the subject when starts talking by telling her how much, you love her and how beautiful she is, and how lucky you are to be married to such a lovely woman

well we have a tendency to do that. She knows u dont care it is the fact that someone is there. There is a problem when she stops talking to u then she is hiding something
