If your wife came to you and told you that she had an older guy offer her 3 grand a month to see him a couple of times a month would you let her?

First of all if I wanted her to do it I would never have asked. She came to me and said she wanted to do it. I told her I didn't like the idea but she has convinced herself the money is well worth it.

That depends on your beliefs about marriage, do you have an open marriage where you both can see and sleep with other people, or are you a monogamous couple. Do you have relegious beliefs about marriage? Can you handle the fact that your wife is going to be having sex with this other guy?
Me personally if I was still married the answer would be no, I personally believe that the bonds of marriage are sacred (not relegious just sacred) and should not be broken. But if 3 grand a month is worth your pride, dignity, and potentially your marriage then go for it.
PS if you are able to say you could handle your wife sleeping with another man then watch the movie "Indecent Proposal" the husband in the movie thought he could handle it also.

Sounds like trouble to me. I would not do it. I would not give my permission. I would not be tempted by the money if my marriage was good or even if my marriage was on the rocks and I thought it could be good again.
However, if my marriage was horrible and there had been many sexual mis deads on both sides already I would not protest too strongly. I would want to meet this man and be sure he was a good guy and healthy guy. And I would expect that I would get some of the financial benefits, along the way.
The key for my wife would be how she could deal with this and remain pretty much unaffected by it.

This sounds like the movie "Indecent Proposal". My opinion is...No amount of money is worth jeopardizing your marriage. Don't stoop that low. If you want money, simply find a job & go to work. If you really love your spouse, you wouldn't do this or even think of it. My husband said he will beat the crap out of any guy who offers him money just to have me.

So basically, what you're saying is that your wife has informed you that she intends on a career as a prostitute. And you have no say in the matter.
I think your question needs to be re-phrased. It's not a question of whether you'll "let her", it's a question of whether you're willing to stay married to a hooker.

Do you love your wife or is money more important? Don't be stupid. If you do this then SHE WILL LOOSE ALL RESPECT FOR YOU AND YOU THE SAME. She will end up leaving you.
