I have these spurts where I love my girlfriend more than anything, and then other days she is the last person I want to be around. We are currently dating, and everything started out great, we spent loads of time together and couldn't get enought of eachother. I know my gf has been completely in love with me for four years. This is our sixth time dating [i know] and I have finally realized that her personality does not fit together with mine at all. I'm a spiritual and open-minded person who loves music from as many different cultures as possible, i'm into art and a nature freak. My gf isn't open-minded, more atheist than you could imagine, not cultured at all, and is only interested in herself and only the things she likes. She also deals with major depression and depends on me greatly. She is into self-mutilation and wants to hang herself. I haven't been interested in this relationship for sometime, but I worry that if I break it off with her she will do something drastic. HELP!

In January I found my wife with another man, since then we've been seperated and are indeed getting a divorce. I've been kind of moping around these past few months, but I've found a woman I really care about and do want to be in a relationship but I'm afraid of getting hurt again. This is a poll done for my own curiosity, a kind of cultural interest thing on body image and whatnot. I want to ask everybody who's attracted to women, not necessarily to compare, just to get as many opinions as I can. So:
Do you have a limit on body size when considering a woman to date/have a relationship with? If so, what is that limit? (you can give it to me in pounds, pants size, however, but try to make it as concrete as you can so I know what you mean. Clothing size is probably better to use than weight, as appearance can be decieving, but use whatever you want.) Thanks for answering, it will be informative!

I work with a girl who is getting married in September and everyone is telling her not to throw rice at the wedding. They drum up the same old myth that rice will kill birds dead, dead, dead!

Of course I laughed at this and showed her various places online that proves this is a myth.

I understand that ignorant people think that the birds eat the rice and it swells up causing them to rupture.

Of course this makes no sense because rice is a natural grain, birds eat it in the wild. Dog food also expands but dogs don't die from eating it. Corn expands but geese love to eat it and they drink alot of water.

So why do people think this? Is it just widespread ignorance?

I am married since 2 years , I love my wife and she was my childhood love. One time before getting married , I meet other girl , I liked her but not till love . this girl disappeare since that time.
now , she show up again , and she talked to me more than one time , we spoke on special things and she said some love words to me . I also replyed for her by the same feeling. she tried to meet me but I didn't accept that.

I have been dating this 30 year old man for about four months. We go out on dates, hang out and yes we have sex. But we can also talk about anything. We get along perfectly and make each other laugh. The only problem is why has he not asked me to be his girlfriend? He has not kids, I have no kids...we both have a great job, so what is the problem?? Should I wait for the right moment or move on?

My father does not speak to me nor my mother. My mother tries to speak to him but I don't want to speak to him. I disrespect him because he used to beat me harshly with a wooden 2 by 2 when I was smaller as a Haitian discipline, but I was raised in America. He locks up all his belongings with padlocks, even his clothes, tools, unimportant documents. He sleeps on a separate bed from my mother in the same room as her. He has never told us he loved us. He wears a "mask" to the rest of the outside family when they visit but when they leave, the "mask" comes off and he is the same old way again. He never tells us where he is going and when he takes us places , we ask where are we going and he denies us an answer. He does come through on holidays and he did take us places as a kid. He would take us to church, and to family events ( wearing the "mask") and even to cool places. He used to be nice but as time progressed he would become meaner and less caring.

About 4-5 months ago my bf left me bcuz he wasn't pleased with the way the house was running . Well now on Thursday he went to work and didnt' come home ! He called me the next day and let me know that he was not going to be returning home. Then today he shows up and says he wants to work it out . I'm confused bcuz we have 2 children together ... 1 and 2 and i have 2 children from b4 but they have been with him for the past 4 years. I feel guilty bcuz i dont' want to deprive them of a family but i dont' wanna look like a fool taking him back either. The first time he left he promised he never do it again and i let him come back , now he's done it again and i know in my heart if he was ever to leave again .... the truth. you find out that he brought her to your house and had sex with her there. you already know he slept with her, but not at your house he also claimed he had sex only one time, but you find out its more. I am 21 years old and will be 22 very soon.I am in college right now and also working full time.I have the money to move out and have had it for over a year.
My fiance and I have been trying to move into an aparment of our own for about a year now.So far it has not happened because I am afraid of what my mother will say.She does not like him very much,but still has respect for him.I dont get it either so dont ask.Anyways,She is very overprotective of me.She has always been this way and I never see it changing.I have a curfew of 11pm.I cant go out with friends because I have to be home so early.And I only get to see my fiance but once a week because of this as well.My mom pitches a fit everytime I want to do something with my friends and its not with her.

I have to move out next month,but I want to tell her instead of just leaving without so much more than just "i moved out.see ya bye."I don’t want to hurt her feelings,but I have to get out.

We are pregnant with #2, only 5 weeks left until the baby is here. We have a house that is being renovated and could be done a little faster than I believe...My husband keeps saying he goes to work on the house but he steers toward his buddies house all day. In the evening, I usually find myself over there to help him, but he's not at the house. Lately, all he's been thinking about is fulfilling his musical dream before the baby is here. He's coming home with new musical equipment while we have absolutely nothing for the baby. He spends his time home from work in his music studio until 2am. And gets angry when our daughter wants him to play with her. He never answer's my phone calls cuz "he left it in the car" And he complains that we wont have money to survive with a new baby. I've talked to him, but he gets angry and tells me to get a job then..I dont want to live in my dad's house forever...what do i do?

I need help on the people. I have a 17 year old step-child that lives with me my husband and my 3 small children. She literally hates me and to prove it she is disrespects me and my children everyday. My husband her father doesn't do anything that help the situation; she just does what she wants and says what she wants (cursing and call me names) and it making everyday living, hell. I sometimes have to tell my kids, "just stay away from her!", because she will yell and scream at them because she had a crappy day or whatever. My kids get nervous around her sometimes and i hate that. I tried talking to her, and make sense of this but we just end-up screaming and damn near fighting. I want her to finish high school next year so I don’t want her to be out on the street. I do love the girl but that love is turning in to hate. I can't have my children live with this type of disrespect and evil-ness. Should I take my kids and go?

He is perfect in my eyes but to the world he is far from it. I love him so much. My best friend use to be really close with him then he moved away. Julie[my best friend] introduced me to him. I always talk to him everyday for HOURS AND HOURS. But I have never met him. I tell him EVERYTHING. Things no one else knows. and he tells me things back. He says he loves me back and I can tell he does.VERY much. He would die for me but that brings up more problems. Hes very suicidal and depressed and Im truely the best thing in his life. I have stopped him from killing himself many times. A lot of this is because of all the stress he has. His dad is really abusive and that makes me sad. He is HIGHLY addictive to drugs and he is really tied up in them. He is also a HUGE dealer which I hate. He has tried to stop many times for me but each time he fails. Idk what I would do if I lost him. He means so much to me. He makes me feel a way no one else has even gotten close to. I love him.idk what to do!
