my friend had a one night stand with a 21 yr old and she's only 15. She told him she was 18, but now she wants to come clean, since he seems to like her and wants to see her again. She likes him as well, and she's definetly mature to handle that kind of relationship, but how should she tell him, and (to guys in particular) how might he react? help help help

She has decided, so she has to tell. The guy might not want to continue but that's the risk she has to take. After all, she doesn't want to continue pretending to be 18.

Things dont work the way you think. One night stands dont really mean anything for men. Hardly 2% men would get into a serious relationship after so called one nighters.... If the girl is so matured at the age of 15, then why did she lie to him? She actually misled him into dating a minor and he might get into problems for that. Obviously we all can see where this is going, so talk to your frend and tell her to be a little more mature and know this man thoroughly before having a probable heart-break!

What they BOTH need to know is that he can be arrested for statutory rape, deviate sexual intercourse, corruption of a minor, and whatever other charges the police or her parents care to press! And no, she most certainly is NOT mature enough to handle that or any other relationship for that matter. Bottom line...he is a man....she is a girl. There is no debate here.

For her to continue a relationship with this guy not knowing her real age could become a serious problem, especially if they have sex. That could land him in jail. She should tell him right away, and if he's smart, then he should run, not walk away from her as fast as he can. Tell your friend to stick with boys her own age. She's not ready for men.

Wow, this could be very difficult. He did not know her age, so he likely won't get in trouble. However, there will be difficult questions if the law finds out about this. Did they have sex? If they did, he could go to prison and become a registered sex offender. This could very well ruin his life. She needs to come clean, and if anyone finds out, she must make it very clear to any authorities that he did not know she was underage. If there's any suspicion that he knew her age, he could go to prison.

he will probably be mad because he has now committed a felony. If I was her I would save him the humility and leave him alone. And your friend might need to talk to someone in regards to one night stands at her age.

Well, she lied once, she will probably lie again. The dude should run and not look back. Besides its called statutory rape.

If she was so mature why did she lie in the first place?

well he will most likely be a little pissed off when she tells him but i think he should know the truth.. if he really liked her then he would stay with her. idk? some people react differently than others so you will just have to see to find out

the "mature" thing would be to tell him, but he will probably be hesitant about seeing her again...tell the truth next time
