I think casual sex is a myth. Notice the people who engage in much promiscuous sex need other drugs in order to help them escape the feelings that follow sexual intercourse.
It's a B-E-A-utiful dream to imagine that human affection can be taken in the form of a pill(casual sex) whenever needed with no side-effects(all the messy complications that accompany human relationships). It's just not true.
This is true for men as well. I think it's a huge myth that men don't have these feelings. They may have less left-right brain connections so they are less aware of the feelings than women, but the feelings are still there. You can see this in the behaviors of men after sex. Not calling. Ending relationships as soon as they get sex. Drinking lots after sex and so on.
So, I do think sex causes feelings for the partner. Regardless of circumstances. If the feelings are powerful enough people may want to try a relationship. But this is awkward because they don't know each other, in the case of casual sex, and are not sure if a serious relationship is something they want to pursue with this person.

I don't know, I have only slept with whores in foreign countries and they must think I am really ugly because they always run after I pay them. I never had the chance to fall in love.

In stupid Hollywood movies it can.
I can think of lots of dumb movies , many chick flicks, that delude women into thinking FWB can become more.
A perfect example is The Holiday with Cameron Diaz.

Sure once in awhile but more often then not it is what it is just a booty call.... lust is alot more common then love in situations like that

Not just the girls, men are guilty of it to. it happens, especialy if the sex is great.
