I once dated a girl who's last name was the same as mine. And no we were not related in anyway shape or form! We did a genealogy of her family to make sure. We didn't have to do one of mine, because my grandfather has one dating clear back to like 1734 A.D. in Ireland. We took her genealogy and my genealogy, compared and there was no way possible for us to be related, unless it was before 1734 A.D., and if it was that far back it was too far in history to matter!
