Respect or disrepect when it comes to a relationship?

a man has done or said a few things to me. i am curious -- am i soft hearted or is he really rude and disrespectful?

1- jokes 4 or 5 times about my appearance- skinny, bony, look like a stick person, anorexia- says he is just joking-

2- stares at almost every female up and down twice and doesn't even hear what i have just said- but knows what they have said

3- tells me to get to the point faster then he would listen to my conversations- but then says he enjoys hearing me talk

4- tells me i am attractive and is affectionate, but plays games when it come to showing he cares

5- says he likes to be in control during sex and that shouldn't offend me. he says he doesn't mind me being on top, feels ok

6- he hates when i just don't say goodbye and hangup. he tells me asking when willl i hear from him again or if i tell him when i will call him it drives him up the wall and drags the conversation on.

is it him being rude or is it me

My good friend asked 3 girls to be bridesmaids. Myself, her other best friend, and her sister. She picked out the dresses (cute sundresses that we can wear again that were $110) which i thought were very reasonable priced to be bridesmaids dresses and super cute so we can wear them again. Now the other bridesmaid has decided "she doesnt need another bill" and "she wont spend that much on a dress she may not like" and "cant you pick a cheaper dress". I think this is horrible rude. She should NEVER have agreed if she didnt want to spend the money. this is also all we are being asked to buy!!! we can wear any shoes/hair do/anything. ive told my friend to forget the other girl and pick someone else. what do you think?

Sorry if you saw this in singles, but wondered about the maturity of the group in general.. (not those who answered). Just recently divorced, and wondering if there is hope for me somewhere… NOT looking to meet a guy online, but asking a general question of you men… would you consider dating someone like me (i.e. is there hope?)
Good – I’m attractive – long blonde hair (mid-back), blue, fair complexion, not skinny, but not plump.. LOL.. 30, told I have a smile that lights up the world and love to flash it often.. love life, look at bright side of life, absolutely content in the garden watching butterflies, listening to wind in the trees, hikes, camping, am Native American, though I don’t appear so, but love my culture – pow wow’s, gatherings, etc. Do believe in God and talk with him daily, but do not attend church often, great cook, elementary school teacher, provide for myself = have a home and a nice car, love my independence. Tend to be a bit wild in bed, open minded,

I met this girl in vagas and have since moved to to her home state to be with her. We have had two beutiful boys in the past two years and I love them more with each passing day . My question is should I stay in this state, which I can't stand, And in this dead end relationship which seems to have no chance from either side. Keep in mind that I'm in my upper 30's and have to make the right decision soon. Life is too short. Right???

My Matron of Honor and I have been best friends for as long as I can remember (we are 1st cousins as well) but we are very different. Honestly, we are about as opposite as two people can get. I was her Maid of Honor is her wedding so it has always been assumed that she would be the Matron of Honor in mine. Well, now we live in different towns, we hardly ever talk anymore, she is pregnate with her first child (it will be born 6 months before my wedding) and she is totally uninterested in my wedding at all. She is not what you would call a very happy person. Every time I bring up anything about the wedding she totally does not respond or she changes the subject. I really haven't asked her to be my Matron of Honor, but like I said, it has always been implied and I was her Maid of Honor. But I am starting to not want her to be. I feel that my Matron/Maid of Honor should be excited for me and willing to help me plan or at least be a little interested. What should I do?

It's alright for the men to go sleep around. What's good for the goose is good for the gander! Maybe other women get jealous because they"re not getting any!

It was brought to my attention that wedding gifts are not required when you attend a wedding, but yet so many people buy them and become resentful when those few people don't buy them. Personally, since it is so expensive to have people come to your wedding, I would feel very uncomfortable not bringing a gift.

several months ago i relocated to another city to be closer to someone with the hope of becoming an item.I postponed my hopes and dreams hoping this person would be my backbone. all that i need to face the world. to run to when the world turned cold.I instead found that he had hopes and plans with several others whom he visted on week and weekend trip's to in other parts of the states.i fell in pieces and i started to worry about my health and my mindstate. i also feared that love was a mirage for me. how do i then thrust myself in the loving arms of religion and a new start with this past and feeling's looming over my shoulders like unsettled dust.

When people are in a serious relationship it doesn't mean that they stop fancying other people! They either choose not to act on those impulses or the love they feel for their partner overrides them. However, sometimes an attraction for someone else grows too strong and the person might start acting on their feelings. Do you know someone in a relationship who appears to fancy you?

I had best friends but i could feel like we were drifing apart and that they jus didn't "like" me anymore. Now i am positive because they have begun to hang out with eachother and not invite me. its summer now so having no friends is bearable but i stil have 2 more years of school then im off to college with a fresh start but i dont want to go through my last two years of high school alone. the people in my school are not the kind that i would want to be best friends with but seeing that all my other friends have ditched me, i dont know what to do. i spend some of my nights crying and wondering why and what i had done wrong. please if anyone can give me advice or has this issue too.

I am 25 femald and my boyfriend is 23. My boyfriend is concerned that I am too good (mature) for him. Do you think it's a great concern? I think it's even better for him to have a mature girlfriend, but he is taking it negative. Is it a sign of his insecurity? Your comments will be appreciated.
