Depends...if you are selling something or are involved in a pyramid scheme...people aren't going to like it or you.

I would love to have you as my friend. Information shared shows caring. Why should one feel offended, especially when you are showing concerns and want to help. Try expressing what you want them to know and if they can't accept what you're trying to say or do maybe it's not for meant for them, so leave it alone. Just don't give up or lose what you have. It's special.

If it is a sharable possession then by all means offer to share it. Some would be delighted to receive it and others may refuse to accept. If it would benefit someone then just ask them if you can share it and then you will get your response.

It can be offensive if it crosses the line of personal values: like you found religion, or that financial -get --rich-- scheme, or the most wonderful man in the world (but you need help in coping with his marriage, or transgenderism, or transdressing, or drug habit, or you meet him over the net and are immediately in love )

Those sharers are usually trying to shove their political or religious views down your throat. They are not sharing, just haranguing. So if that is you, just keep your valuable thing to yourself. That is the way to stay good friends.

sharing is a way of loving...
i know you value much of that thing that's why you're kinda hesitant also to share...the fear of losing it, right?
But it's very very nice of you of thinking about sharing it to others knowing there'll be risks...

you see, not all things (good or bad) lasts...
if it would really deserve you...time pass, it'll stil go back to you...
