plenty....but it is up to you to stop that or set boundaries..and if they act on them while in a serious relationship then they are not worth it. A wise person will not start something new without anding something they no longer want....I mean there is no point in holding someone if you want to be with someone else.

Being in a relationship and "fancying other people" is not a ticket to cheat yourself and your partner. How serious would that make the relationship? But I think it's hugely important to maintain friendships with both sexes that would respect your relationship. If I'm getting bedazzled by someone else while I'm in a serious relationship, then I'm getting befuddled and bewildered and it's time to start reassessing what's up with me. As my dearly beloved elderly Irish bartender use to tell me way back in my drinking days, " The f***ing you get isn't worth the f***ing you'll get..." But as an added aside, that conversation only came about when we were laughing about how no other girls gave me the time of day until I got a girlfriend outside of the local populace...then it seemed like every girl (attached/unattached) suddenly wanted to hang with me...oops ...I'm rambling off here...I almost got into telling you about Trish "the dish" but I'll defer...to sanity...

I was the person in the relationship fancying someone else. It means that there is problems in that relationship. You do not want to be stuck in the middle of someone fancying someone else while in a relationship. Keep your distance, remain friends, and someday, there may come a time.

i don't know anyone in that situation and if I were I would run a mile to get away from it.
One of my pet hates is infidelity and I would not want to be unfaithful or be a part of someone elses infidelity.
Having just writen that I realize that I have no idea what I would really do if I were in that situation since I have never faced it. I am only saying what I hope that I would do.

Actually, yes. He is my ex-boyfriend. We work together and he just always kind of stares at me like longingly but when I look at him, he looks away. Anyways, he broke up with his girlfriend two weeks ago (because she is going to college), and now he is realllllly startin to flirt with me, compliment me, etc. But I just got into a relationship. So he asked me how my summer has been so far. And I just acted like I didn't notice his flirting and said "OMG I met this totally great guy! I really like him a lot. You know, I'm glad we are friends so we can openly talk about things like this." Yeah, it was kind of weird, but he will move on.. well, I hope. Either way, we are still friends.
