A couple of months ago, this guy I worked with whom I liked very much and we got on very well, did not seem too keen to talk and when I asked if he meant that I don't call him again he said that was close to what he meant. He also said we could not be friends which was very upsetting. I then said I would never contact him again. HOWEVER, now I need him to provide a reference for me and I want to contact him to check if he has been contacted by the reference checking people because it is crucial that they contact him, but I am afraid to in-case he does not like that. I will not call him but I thought I might text him. Do you think it is ok if I text him asking him if he has been contacted by them yet? What would you do?

my little boys dad walked out on us in march and moved in with some one ten days later, my son is six and his dad sees him for a few hours a week (his choice) we had to move back in with my parents and i got a part time job which unfortunally is at night its 2 nights a week but i am home in time to but my son to bed, i also went to a party on satarday night but was home for twelve and that has been my first night out,
now my ex says that my son never gets to see me and i am damageing him emotonally by going to work and leaving him with my mum because he is still getting used to not seeing his father (his choice) and how not seeing his mum
he is making me feel very bad but is he just playing games with me because i am getting over him

I have been low key about the emailing. She has been open about it & has always been a fantastic wife & mother. Nonetheless, sometimes I feel he is "fishing" in my waters and small windows of insecurity (such as would she have been happier with him), irrationally come to me. He has told her that the biggest mistake he ever made was breaking off their engagement.

He lives 2,000 miles away & that distance has provided a buffer zone, however last fall he was an hour or so away & wanted her to visit him. I told her that I trusted her, but was not as sure about trusting him & that I would feel more comfortable if he came to our home if he wanted to see her (and meet me.)

He did not want to do that but they continue to chat monthly.

I know this because she shares some of her discussions with me.

I have told her that sometimes this on line reunion wierds me out but that I am not going to stomp my feet and demand that she banish him fom all contact.

What do you think?

Im a prisons officer and usually I achieve a very good orgasm and satisfaction and consecutive go on several session in a given time period with my partner specially on days that I achieve something in my profession like controlling riotous prisoners and stuff. I grew up in an average-income family.I have parents and 2 sisters-one older and one younger.
My dad used to hit me with a belt -though he never did that to my sibs.Now sometimes if i did something bad he slaps me,and i never saw him do that to my little sister.
yes,he yells at my sisters when they are naughty but he never hit them.
There are times when my mom hurts my feelings.She scolds me if i curse but she lets my big sis go if she says bad words.
My little sis is spoiled by both my parents.
By the way my parents say that they love me but i don't think they do and if they do they probably love my sisters more than me.

I have been diagnosed with depression. My marriage is under stress. I don't feel happy with my marriage, and I feel as though it may have something to do with my depression. I just don't know. We have nothing in common and don't have a good bond at all. He is a great guy, but I just don't feel that connected to him. My depression is taking its toll on me and it is a struggle to stay alive some days. Lucky for my 6yr old son. He is my reason to keep going somedays. Do you think that a poor bond with my husband is making me depressed. We are off to round two of marriage counselling and I just don't think its gonna work. We just don't talk, and I am a huge talker. I live in a remote town and am quite lonely. I don't have a great friendship with hubby so I feel even more alone. He insists everything is fine. I feel like he will never want to be close. I don't expect alot. The most hurtful thing he said once was that he didn't think he could get the same level of enjoyment from a relationship as he does from video games, or other hobbies. So, most of the time I feel like I'm last on his list. I hate it! I feel like he's so immature, I don't know how to help the situation. Whenever I talk to him about my feelings I just get more upset. I think it really hurts his ego that I am basically telling him he's not fulfilling my needs.

friends, i just want to ask for advices whether you have experience it or not on how to forget your past..like, when you hate it if you see things, or been into place you have bad memories and you want to forget them..but anytime I think about it, it keeps haunting me down..let me directly tell the point..having had bad relationship with a guy for just a short period of time..but cause so much pain and now all i realized is that I never love him but only pity him..and hate him now...what I struggle is the place, the things , the memories that keep affecting me and bring me bad feelings...how can I forget them and overcome them???

I have not dated much of my life due to being overweight.

I have lost 38 pounds and going!!!

My parents want me to get married but they don't realize
that I need time to see what is out there. Plus I am finishing
my BA and want to go to law school.

Because of this I want to get married like 2 - 4 years
from now.

One of my parents is unhealthy and really wants me to
get married so they can see my children. But I want to
make sure I have resources to support my future
children and my parents. I am torn, is it okay to wait?

Well, long story short; I was at a bus stop one day and gave my jacket to this woman because it was cold. I gave her my number and said I'll pick it up some other day. She told me her age. 28 years old, and she has three kids in South America. She also had a wedding ring on, but said she's not really committed, her husband is in South America also. So anyways, she calls me a couple times to talk, and it goes alright. But then I start ignoring her for a good four months, but she still calls all the time. I just broke up with this other girl, so I'm thinking, why not hook up with this 28 year old. She always calls me sweetheart, says she misses me, and wants to sing me songs she wrote.

Should I be freaked out; Is she trying to kidnap me or something? LOL

But she's nice, pretty cute, and I wouldn't mind having some fun. What does she want though?
