If he has a personality of being argumentative, moody and irritable? He says thats who he is and it ended our relationship. He said that I should know how to work with him. He wasn't like this in the beginning but it all came out after a year of dating. Will he change for someone else?

we have the oppurtunity to foster our two month old niece, her mother is a drug addict and the baby was born addicted, her mother has not been heard from since April 27th and the baby needs to be placed in foster care, we would like to adopt her, but since the mother is no where we really don't know how she feels about it, we do know the mother is still using and living on the streets....my question is: WOULD YOU FOSTER THE BABY...WAIT AND SEE IF SHE CAN BE ADOPTED FIRST OR DO IT NOW FOR THE BABIES BENEFIT, we are just worried of making complete lifestyle changes just for the mother to come and rip her out of our arms, would you foster her either way, why or why not...we meet with the social worker tommorow

I am 21 years old. My parents divorced when I was about six. They have never gotten along. I just started speaking to my dad again after almost 8 years of not seeing him - not by my choice, but because he made himself unavailable. He really wants to make up for lost time, but he keeps talking crap about my mom. My mom and I fought when I was a teenager, as most do, but now we are really close and I tell my mom everything. The thing is, my fiance's family is finally going to be in one place at one time (rare!) next month and I want to invite my dad so he can meet his parents. My mom doesn't say anything bad about my dad AT ALL, but I'm concerned my dad might be a jerk and antisocial. The MAIN thing I'm concerned about - if I don't invite my dad to this event, of course he will be invited to our wedding (not for another year or so though, we're having a long engagement) ... I'm sure this is a semi-common problem for kids with divorced parents. How did you deal with it?

Because I'm 22 years old... I'm sometimes dating young (college aged) guys. A lot of them just approach me in a store or at a ballgame and ask me out. Should I tell them about my situation right away or wait?

Also, are younger men (22) or older men (30's) probably better dating-material for a 22 year old Mom / Homeowner / Divorcee / Responsibility-Ridden Woman (ha!)?

My boyfriend (of almost a year) and I have decided to get promise rings. We're both almost 18, and went to church together for 2 years, until my family left (crappy!), and we now go to the same school. We are completely in love, and no, its not sissy high school love either. :D We're both quite aware that we might break up and never see eachother again, but at this point, we want to try to make it. However, we don't want these promise rings to be 'pre-engagement' rings.

Any advice; like what we should promise, ring ideas... etc. :D

thanks.

Women, have you ever experienced this or know someone who has?

A women being with a man she loves, and he loves her. But, for some reason she can’t orgasm with him. I have read Cosmo and things like that, so I know most of the “in generals”. While she loves him, does she find him sexual attractive? Is he too selfish, or just a horrible lover? There are many circumstances, I know. But I am wondering what specifically in “your” situation may be the cause. If there was a combination of various circumstances, or if the cause was truly unknown?

I have heard that a women’s orgasm is more emotional. Is that true? Because I have heard that some women’s best sexual experiences have come from one-night-stands… that doesn’t seem too emotional. So, is that a bunch of BS.

Let me say that I have not been a serious enough relationship for this to be an issue. So, I don’t really need advice. But the thought that this occurs is very depressing, and scares the crap out of me. I just want to avoid it if I can. I’m 28 and male. If this question happens to interest you, I have another open question posted on my profile.

Thank you, if you have at least read this.

Why is it that most people give the advice to leave the spouse. Is there no commitment anymore? Why not encourage counseling and communication?

how long takes for a man to move on from his ex wife who he was in love for two and loved or compromising for 8 and ended in divorce...?

i am with him for half year, and we fought over this ex issue on regular basis, he is angry that i dont believe him ---he told me that he doesnt love her anymore, he never wanna get back with her, his care for her because of memory,it is not love...but everytime, while there is a situation he feels he does the right thing toward her and i dont think that's proper, he would gets all angry with me again, he always has this romantic ending melody in his head from my point of view, but NO one wants his boyfriend on hand with her, another hand to romantically end with another woman. when i am very frustrating, he would prefer us to have a break but just cant simply dont care about his ex...is it a sign that he is using me for moving on...feels like his past love story is more important than our present one..

please help..a sad silly girl

I Know im going to get alot of negitive remarks, but I would like some honest input. I was out with some friends drinking and got past the drunk stage to the stumble around and passout stage. Somehow I ended up flirting with woman and it progress to touching and feeling. I dont remeber every detail, but I know that we did not have sex. I left the bar and felt horrible about it and was going to call my wife and tell her. One of my friends wifes talked me out of it for the simple reason I was drunk. Her theory was I wake her up at 3 am stupidly drunk and tell her on the phone, she would more upset than sobber and In person. I turned myself in the next day. She left , with our daughter(16 months), for 2 days and is coming home tomarrow. The last thing I ever wanted to do was cheat. I love my wife and she is a wonderful mother. I have already found some marrige councilers in our area, sent her flowers, and said Im sorry a million times. What else can I do to show her I REALLY am sorry?

My husband of nearly 15 years left me for another woman. We were separated since 2/2004 and the divorce was final 1/2005. Now I am planning to marry the sweetest man in the world... I adore him, but he lives in another state. My family, friends and the kid's family and friends are all here. The boys seem fine with us moving, but am I really doing the right thing? Is it fair for me to relocate? Their Dad is not happy about me taking the boys and there will be a court date to settle this, but chances are the judge will allow us to move. Do you all think this is ok or am I being selfish? We are only talking about a 4 to 5 hour drive really.
