I'm not a guy but that is a very small amount of time. I would think it would be compatible.

not at all weired! Sometimes it's good to have a little bit older friends for advice and stuff like that, it's also good to be a mentor and have younger friends. Besides from 17-22 it's only 5 years. Its hardly an age gap. You must be close and grew up together and their isn't anything wrong with that!

not at all, I'm 24 most of my friends are in their 30's but i have friends every age group up to about 60, that said the one firend I have that's excactly my age just went to re do her high school diploma and has made friends with a bunch of 17yr olds and they're great people she has heaps of fun with them. Age is irrelevant I think as long as they're good people who gives a toss.

Friends don't have to come together just because of age. It should be because of interest and similarity. I'm friends with much older people because we share things we all love to agree and disagree on. This is nothing, but an example of friendship at its finest!!! Age is nothing...

Not really. My friends in school range 19 to 36 years old and we are all friends and hang out together after school.

No, not at all. Some of my friends are old enough to be my mom or dad while others are young enough to be my son or daughter. What matters is that you get along & can have fun together.

your friends lol isn't an age restriction on that... if it was more then it would be a problem with the 17yr old but hey friends are friends I have a lot of younger friends and older for that matter

Nope...friends are friends no matter what the age...Age is just a way to keep track of how old you are but it shouldn't get in the way of a friendship....
