My husband just told me he wants to go to law school. We are already in severe debt with school loans from getting our MBAs and have only been in the work force for about two years. He wants to become a lawyer but we also want a family (something we discussed before we got married). I don't know how I can work full time, be pregnant, and support my husband through law school. Then...what comes next? How much time will he spend with his wife and childrent? Are we always going to be put on the back-burner for his career? He thinks that he will be doing a lot of trial work and that will be fun, but I read that less than 5% of cases ever make it to trial. I want to support my husband, but I am really, really scared. It seems like too much of a sacrifice to make. Can someone give me some feedback? Thank you all, I appreciate it.

Okay. Here is my predicament. I first met “Ben” about mid-January. I started seeing “Ben” just over a month ago. We are exclusive, boyfriend/girlfriend, you know? He is 24 and I am 22. Well, I really like him a lot. You could even say that I think I am falling in love with him. He is a wonderful man. Treats me far better then any guy I have ever been with. He is respectful, sweet, and kind. We seem to have a deep connection. That long gaze into each other’s eyes as we lay in bed with each other is intoxicatingly intense, etc.

This last weekend we went on a camping trip with a bunch of friends. We were having an excellent time. The second night there, we were lying in our tent and he dropped a big bomb on me. Something I never in a million years would have seen coming. I know he smoked pot occasionally and even though it is not something I do, I know it is pretty common-place in my age group and area in which I live. He told me he does cocaine. I asked him how often and he said he did it on the weekends. He was really emotional when he told me about it. He cried. Said he wanted my help to stop. That he didn’t want to loose me, but that he had to tell me. He says he has a history of pushing people away, but felt I was different. He said he was scared when we first started seeing each other because he felt himself getting really attached and in the past it is the point in which he runs and hides. He said the questions I ask him about life and things I talk about made him think about things on a deeper level and it scared him. He says he really cares for me and doesn’t want so see me hurt. Said he sees in me what he wants for his life and future. He told me he is glad to have me in his life and to have found me. That I was a strong person and he wanted to know how to obtain that kind of strength.

Anyway, my question is… how do I deal with this? How do I help him or support him? Does his desire to change seem sincere to anyone who has experienced anything similar to a loved on in addiction. I don’t want to just walk away and turn my back on him. He is special and important to me. I want to help him but am at a loss.

falling in love with a married man when you are a single lady

She is driving me crazy, especially since I don't think much of the way she's bringing up her kids, but I keep my mouth shut because it's none of my business. What really drives me up the wall is all the "medical" advice she gives me. She does not agree with the opinions of my daughter's doctor regarding the way he's treating her allergies. She acts as if she were a doctor (which she is not) and offers alternative treatments. She's done horrors to her kids through her "treatments" and I just feel like telling her to shut up and mind her own business. However, I don't want to offend her or upset my husband by having an argument with her. She does not seem to understand my hints that I don't want her advice. What can I do?

There's this guy at school, who is really funny, cute, and super understanding. I've never met a guy like this before. He's so awesome and listens to me and he's always around me. At first I thought he liked me, and everyone would always say to me oh he's flirting with you oh he likes you. Just today though I found out he has a girlfriend. I'm really upset what do I do?

Because they don't approve of me getting married outside of their church and of the fact my fiance and I moved in together a few weeks ahead of the wedding.

I'm rather hurt. Any thoughts?????

FYI, my dog is the best dog ever! She's smarter than most people, I swear. And she's so cute! Is it wrong that I would choose my dog over a potential boyfriend? (And for anyone even thinking about making some sick comment, don't waste your time)

If they do, will we still bother to hook up? Will the whole world become like Japan? Would you ever date a sumo wrestler?

I already have 5 bridesmaids and he has 5 groomsmen. His mother wants all the cousins in the family (ages 2-11) in the wedding. I have attended plenty of family gatherings and know the kids pretty well, but I don't want children in the wedding. I don't have any family of mine close enough to ask. and have not asked friends with kids (who i am close to) so as not to upset MIL. She wants 2 jr. bridesmaids 2 flower girls 2 jr groomsmen and 1 ringbearer and i don't want any of this. its my wedding am i wrong to stand up for what i want?

the groom is adamant about them being in the wedding because he doesn't want to fight with his mom over it. i am adamant about not having 7 kids that aren't that close to me in my wedding. i have agreed to one flower girl and one ring bearer, some young ushers and greeters to try and compromise. this apparently isn't enough for MIL.

any thoughts?

and please don't be rude, i agreed to a football wedding for him-so i'm not entirely bridezilla

My cousin was a bit of a player/ flirt/jerk throughout highschool his only redeeming quality was he was protective of his family esp his sisters, mom, and niece. Then at age 18 his player habits caught up with him he got his ex.gf whom he as having a fling with pregnant while he had another gf whom he had been w/ a year. For some reason at 19 yrs of age after his son was born his whole personality seemed to change after his babys mama called him on his personality traits and was not going to let him see his son.Granted he is still a rude jerk but he has been with his babys mama for 3 yrs and their getting married next year.
Is it possible for a cheater to reform and fall in love?He is now 22 yrs old does not party.

my sister in law watches my son and takes him to school, and i really appreciate it. i gave her a key to my house so that she can get food and things that she might need for my son during the day. she has a history of stealing (she is 17) but we thought she grew out of it. my husband and i have found that a lot of our things are missing from minor things (earrings, makeup, hair produts, laundry soap) to major things like some of my husbands expensive clothes and even food out of our refrigerator, like meat from the freezer which i know she is not cooking for my son. and i know that my mother in law is telling her to take the food because she is a big moocher.what should we do i really want my key back but do not know the polite way to ask for it. FYI when she did not have the key she still found ways to break in to our house through windows and such. HELP

I don't think this was right for him to do? Not long after this encounter my daughter told me she was asked to snoop when at my house. That this man didn't like me and she didn't want to have to talk to him any more??? We did question the other side that they had taken our daughter to a lawyer but never got to the bottom of it. We received a bill because they wanted me to pay my ex's attorneys fees, which never happend. I did get a copy of the bill, went through it and noticed a conference with my daughter right before I took her on summer vacation. Later it would come up in court that my daughter stole a address book from my house for her mom, all testified under oath by this attorney and my ex-wife. Is this ok behavior?? My daughter seems fearful of someone within my ex's circle and keeps saying they want her to "snoop"to get info for them. I was under the impression child were not to get in the middle?? Please any input will help

Hi I'm 14, this is my mom's account but she said I could ask this graphic question. This is wonderful. I farted right in front of my boyfriend so freakin loud!! It was like I crapped myself. I was on my period too!! I sharted! And he was like "wtf is that ?? damn girl!!" And right after I farted there was a huge BLOOD CLOT in my pad in my UNDIES. And he left me. He said he was going to get a drink and he never came back!!! Are guys really that shallow?? Can't a girl fart while she's on her period!!?? Everyone does it. So does that mean he don't want to be with me? I've always had that problem with guys!! They always use the same excuse, with the drink. SO please answer me right away! I'm hopeless
