You are doing the right thing...if you keep calling him then he knows he has you hooked and that you are there whenever he wants you to be...but he isn't there when you need him..A relationship takes two...You both have to be there for each other..and if you say he doesn't care for you at all..then why be with him?

Doesn't care for you at all? No lesson needs to be taught here, just bye bye to him and hello to a new guy....or enjoy some freedom from guys and focus on yourself, shopping, a nice desert, going out dancing, picking out a bright arrangement of flowers for yourself, heck even just browsing around here on Answers will make the time pass.
My point is-- don't get caught up in teaching someone a lesson who won't give you the time of day. Would you rather look back and think d@mn I wasted so much time worrying about him OR would you rather look back thinking hmm I was so busy with other things I don't even remember that jerk ignoring me...

If he is ignoring you, then he won't notice that you are ignoring him back.
If he does notice, then he probably is going to be relieved, because he will think that you are giving him the time alone that he obviously wants.
