My boyfriend and I are celebrating our 6th year anniversary. I want to do something different and special this time. Last year we stayed at the Sheridan hotel, with jacuzzi, breakfast in bed... the whole nine yards. what else can we do besides hotels and dinner? Also, we're a on tight budget right now, but we can squeeze out a few dollars for our one special day.

My friend is getting married this time next year.
She has 5 bridesmaids (she asked me be chief) in total and a flowergirl.
She asked us if we could put towards our own dresses because she on a tight buget and now she is saying to pay half or above - the full amount if we can.
Aswell as that, she asked me stay in the hotel with her the night before the wedding and then I have stay there wedding night too - which I have to pay for.
She also wants us to buy our own shoes.
Do you think is fair? Is it normal for a wedding?

I have been married for about one year and now it seems that this marriage is all about him; (his wants, his feeling and needs) I gave up my house, my family, and friends, plus all the material furnishing, to move in to his house in another state. I stay at home and take care of the house, the yard and the pool. I cook and clean and make sure everything is done. Now the other day I ask for $10 to go to a rummage in the neighborhood and he had a fit! He said "he spends enough money on me". Now I have no choice but to find outside employment. I need money for little things and feel that I cant ask him for it. Is this a marriage or am I just his grounds keeper What is your opinion?

I really want a nice traditional wedding, but with my own touches. we are having a friday night evening wedding outside. I was just wondering if it would be ok to not have children in the wedding. my fiance and I have a few cousins with small children but none we are really close to. also, any ideas on how to cut costs would be lovely as well. thank you!!!

My husband had an affair (circumstances to complicated to even go into) over a year ago. It lasted 5-6 months when he was out of state working for 10 months. It has been over for more than a year. We went to counseling...etc...and even renewed our vows on our 11th anniversary. I know that he regrets everything he has done and would take it back if he could. He takes ALL the blame for it and has never blamed me for anything. I thought I had forgiven him. I love him with all of my heart. Things have been going great and we have been closer than ever. The problem is the past few days, I cannot seem to get the affair off of my mind. I have been consumed by it. It was this time last year that I actually found out about it. Maybe that has something to do with it? Is this normal? Will all of the feelings and doubt go away again? What can I do to make myself feel better and et the awful thoughts out of my head?

i want to get on with my stepdaughter who is in her 20s. i feel she is keeping me at a distance, have only been married for 8 mth, want to be friends with her and be a good grandfather for any children, do not have any of my own children, want to feel a part of a family. what do you think. read all about these who want someone to love their children, but when someone comes along who does want to love the children you get or feel pushed out. makes you feel its all a load of rubbish about wanting a husband to love their kids, to help them to support them etc etc.

What do you argue about the most?
How often do you argue?
How in depth are your arguements?
Do you ever feel you can't take it and you want to get out, then after cooling off you don't want to leave?

What is the take home message of this comment supposed to be? I've gotten it a lot in the past from male friends, coworkers, just flirting. it's usually something like "will you be the mother of my children?" "i want you to be my babymama" "I want to make babies with you" etc.

It just recently happened again, except this time with a guy I have an on again off again, purely casual fling with - he just came out and said "I love you. I want to make babies with you".

He clearly doesn't "love" me, at least not in any traditional, your my girlfriend, we have a real relationship way.

So this is promtping me to ask - what is intended by this type of comment? What type of compliment is this? What does it mean? How am i supposed to feel when a guy says something like this?

Thanks in Advance!

I want to see how good (or bad) people are at using ORIGINAL chat up lines. Person with the most natural charm gets best answer. I'm a tall, slim, 20 year old; dark eyes and long hair. Try to incorporate this into your chat-up. This is just a bit of fun before anyone starts putting a downer on it - I was doing this with a few friends and it was quite hilarious to see how some people have it and others just don't.

Now that my husband is married, is it appropriate for his ex-girlfriends mother to be calling him when his ex-girlfriends car breaks down? The ex-girlfriend just recently calling him everyday with one thing or the other supposedly about the kids that they have together, but up until she found out that we finally got married, he wasn't even aloud to see his children. what's so different now that we are married than before he was married. He hasn't changed he's still the same man. Why is her mother calling him to come to her rescue?

Recently I found out that my husband was looking for an ex on the net. He told me that they only kissed, no sex, and that she was more like a friend to him. When I asked him, why after all this time would he try to find her and this was his response. "Because I just did." How lame is that? Don't I deserve a better answer? Stuff like this is the reason I don't trust him.

I quit talking to my grandma bc of things she did/said after my dad died.
My best friend quit talking to me in december due to a new boyfriend.
I quit talking to my brother because of his physical threats for not giving him $.
I just told my mom that I will no longer give her gas, cigs or a ride anywhere for not reimbursing me for my car that she wrecked.
My roommate/new best friend is moving 4 hours away.
I may be moving away without my boyfriend due to his laziness and lack of concern for anything or anyone.

How is it possible to lose so many people? Do people normally cut people out of their life to make things easier?

I have been married for 4 months...now Im suffering from it... he seemed like a confident, fun man b4 I married him...but now I realize he is not confident at all, I admit that I dont love him, but he blames me for not showing enough love to him...then how can I fall in love with him after hearing that... he always says he loves me very much, and makes me feel guilty that I dont have feelings for him... although he has some good qualities, he's intelligent, loyal, responsible, he is not romantic, not confident, doesnt have a good body type, and we have different personalities, Im an adventurous person, I have a lot of interests, but he is very conservative and he doesnt like the things I like, I find it so bored with him...and bcos of the different personality, we carry different views all the time... in addition, our sex life is not satisfied... I only had sex with one man b4 getting married, and my exbf is a lot better than him in bed...

So here is the deal. I met this one girl online and I really am starting to like her and I think she really is starting to like me. Problem is she kinda has a live-in boyfriend atm, is still in school, and is like 2800 miles away >.>. I want her to get out of school right now, she needs to do that. I also do not want to preseure her into leaving her boyfriend or anything. So I am kinda looking for a good "I want to be your friend right now, lets continue to keep in touch and see other people and in a year when you are done with school we can reevaulate the situation and see if you would dump your boyfriend and be intersted in moving 2800 miles to be with me." birthday present. She admits she is not that much into jewlery. I'm just looking for some really good suggestions to keep her in my life so later has a chance of happening.
