My husband and I have been married for 13 years. I have always seen him as my one and only true love, no matter what he did to me, he was the one and I was not going to leave. About 2 years ago, I found out that he had been in contact with a girlfriend from high school. The two of them had been calling eachother for about 3 years, on an average of every other day or so. I have never felt such pain, but I loved him and wanted to work it out.

Then he told me he had cheated another time with a long term sub from his school ( my husband is an elementry school teacher) and they had gone out on 1 "official" date ( christmas party) but saw eachother socially for several years.

Is there hope that we will work? Am I the dumbest person in the world for not leaving? Is my love a joke??

Here's the deal. My "best friend" of ten years married my ex. And didn't even so much as tell me, nor hint at a marriage. She even hid the fact that they started dating from me for three days, until I "provoked" her. I'm hurt, not because she's married to him but because she didn't even have the decency to tell me. A friendship of ten years should mean something. I would tell her.. she said it was "too weird" but I really just don't care. I'm not weirded out. I'm sad, and I feel betrayed.. so my question is, how would YOU feel? I found out yesterday, they got married the 6th of this month.

Ok, here's my problem. I like this one girl in my history class. We've never talked but exchanged glances. I'm pretty sure she's caught me looking at her. I'm not sure if I should make the first move because this is my problem. I keep running into her outside of class, so many times that I'm afraid she'll think I'm stalking her or something. It's not even funny how many times we run into each other, it's scary. Anyways, the last time, I was sitting on a bench, I saw her walking by again. I'm sure she saw me and I could see her sort of smiling, or maybe a smirk. What should I do in this situation? Or has it become too weird that I should just give it up?

P.S. Thanks in advance to those who answer and sorry for the long post but that was the only way I could explain the whole story.

shes killing me. she likes only one of me and that the
gentleman" side you when u meet a person in the first day and start being polite gentle. and when i get hyper later with my friends
and start makin fun of people and pick on people
and sometimes i make jokes about her. but only between me and her alone, she kinda dislikes that. so she snaps on me. i say **** it,leave her for a while.. and then talk again she likes me at the start. then we face the same problem again. i just cant feel free with her 100%. she says its not being my self its being rude theres a diff

I don't know why there is any debate on this. the sibling hit and emotionally abused another sibling never owned up to or apologized or made it right and this sibling is still traumatized to be around them, if it was the same situation and the person wasn't a blood relation, family wouldn't expect that sibling to sit with them at dinner and pretend all was ok...

I'm having a hard time adapting to this world, my cousin killed himself because of a stupid teacher and students he was so lonely and he was so quiet he never talked to me, he didn't even talk to my mom or dad he just went out and played sports and so quiet all the time. Thats what my aunt said, she said that because i was asking her so many questions about him( I refuse to answer any questions regarding my cousins accident). But i need to know what to do now what is my next step towards life im so depressed im scred that someone might kill us just because my cousin killed one of their family members i have nothing to do with it. I need to know what to do now please help me im so depressed and i cant sleep :'(

I think my husband is tough on our children, ages 5, 2, and 4 1/2 months. He nitpicks at almost everything that the older two do wrong. If our oldest does something that we have told her not to do he won't let it down and then always goes into lecture mode. She is a really good kid and I think that every kid slips up and that the same lecture gets old after the 4th or 5th time in one week at least it does for me. Everytime they throw fits instantly he reacts and puts them in time out or takes something away from them without finding out the problem that is making them throw a fit . Our oldest is in preschool, and when she comes home talking about what she learned or did that day, he never seems interested. He makes the money and I take care of the kids all day. He feels that I do all the decision making when it comes to the children, but I find myself always protecting their feeling. He isn't really mean, just a little tough.

My step dad is a doctor, extremely rich. Our relationship, not so rich. Our communication is severley lacking. We are on good terms, but just there is no content in our relationship. We are polite and respectful, not much beyond that. I have overheard him talking to my mother about the will. He has already planned it out, giving his money to my 3 half brothers, his blood children. And, I am not hurt in a greedy sense, but hurt because I feel so rejected. I help out constantly around the house, always babysitting, being a good person. Am I totaly wrong to assume i should be in the will?I just dont know

My husband and I do not live together we have a very unusual relationship he has 3 children from his previous marriage. I have 2 from my previous marriage. We have a daughter together. We lived together for 4 years it was not a workable situation and we have lived apart for 4 years. I hate the situation. 2 of his children are grown up and one is 17 and they keep coming back home and going from mum to dad. My children do not get along with his children. They do not want to live with his children. We live in 2 separate homes. It is a very unahappy situation. I am angry because his children are older and will not stand on their own two feet. My ex and I had a huge falling out when our relationship ended. Much was said and done and we both acted out in anger. When I tried to talk to him and confront him, he deleted my emails and didn't want to talk to me anymore. I let it go and time has passed...it always bothered me and I called him and apologized but I got really emotional and told him I would email him and to please not delete it. Well...he has been online, yet the email says "unread". Does this mean he is considering it?
I want things to be ok between us, without any anomosity. We went thu alot and I helped him thru so much. Has time made him think? Or does he not care. He knows we cannot go back to the way things were...but I wanted to see if we can get past this and remain friends, he also is aware of this. Please just tell me if you were him how would you feel. I mean he could have deleted it like the rest.

I am a little old fashion but not too much. I go on a date, or even with certain female friends, and I expect to pick her up, pay for dinner, and open doors for her; just because that's what I've been taught and what I've always done. There are some things I won't do because it's not natural for me, like sliding her chair, standing up when she stands up, walking on the street side of the sidewalk (or at least consciously). I have to admit though, some girls do take advantage, but it doesn't take too many times to realize she's taking advantage...but I do like it when she appreciates it; sometimes a smile is worth the dinner tab.

So ladies...what are your expectations?
