if she gets mad for crap like that then she is one insecure *****......people often confuse this with jealousy , even if u see her as stuck up all ready, she is probably trying to convince herself in that particular case, so try to do somthings or say things that will boost her confidence especially since you guys are bff's!!! trust me , get her all dolled up and say she's hot till she genuinly believes it.

Why would she be angry? Does she perceive that as some type of flirting or naughty contact?

If she is mad because you sent him something, I think it's just silly. What you did is actually a very nice and thoughtful thing, and she shouldn't read anything into what was simply a kind act on your part.

Unfortunately, you cannot ignore her since she is your best friend. If it were anyone else, you could just write it off as insanity and ignore her, but if you want to keep being friends, you are going to have to talk to her about it sooner or later. Give her some time to cool off, and then you can ask her about it. Try not to get angry or defensive, and just explain that you were trying to be nice.

I hope you can work things out. And don't worry--you did nothing wrong.

Your best friend is the "bridge" for how you know her husband. So to completely bypass her, she may find annoying and be slightly suspicious. Explain your intentions to your best friend and tell her that you didn't mean to exclude her. Next time, send the article to your friend with a little note along the lines of, "I thought the two of you might get a kick out of so and so being in the paper." Good luck.

You may have put one toe over a line here.
You probably should have sent it to your friend instead of her husband.
Tell her how you feel and explain that you meant no disrespect for her or her marriage.

I don't think it was a bad thing to do. Maybe you should have told just mentioned it to her before, but it is kind of silly she got mad over something like that.

Whenever I email my bestfriend's husband, I make sure to mention to tell her Hi or something similar. I do this in case she ever reads the email, so she won't think I'm trying to divide him from her.

If she is mad, it is ridiculous jealousy. Anyone that insecure doesn't need to be married.

She probably thinks you're interested in him.

You should have sent it to her and let her give it to him.
