I am 22 years old and in 4 days I will be a mother. When I got pregnant my ex and I were already broken up and he pretty much bailed on me. Called randomly here and there but never went to doctor appointments, or lamaze or anything. Now he is calling saying he awnts to be in the delivery room and he wants a say in god parents and baby names and so on. I made all those decisions(name, godparents) by myself and I personally think that if it was so important to him he would have been around. Am I right for naming our daughter and making certain decisions on my own?

Life is too short. You go on a date and right away you think some guy is wanting more. Maybe yes. Maybe no. Why can't you talk about it without running like a scared rabbit. I am at the point right now where I don't even want to bother asking you out anymore. You are afraid to even talk to a guy. You act high and mighty in a bar or public situation. I don't deserve it. I work hard at self improvement and have a college degree. I guess you all want some guy with $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$. Yet, you say money is not important. You know what. I don't believe it. I like this girl and I write her a note telling her I want to take it slow. She says she doesn't have time for a boyfriend, she says she still wants to talk with me though because I'm super sweet, I believe she doesn't have time but I told her I'm willing to wait for her. Well I wrote her a note and she wrote me back but accidently left it in her car. My situation is different from most one thing I can say is I know when someone doen't like me and is just being nice but shes sincere. Well My boyfriend and I have been going out for about 7 and a half months. Lately like in the last week he has been pushing me away. He wont talk to me at all. I know hes upset. i still have strong feelings for this girl who use to like me too, but we now live 500 miles away and are dating other people... but tonight she told me that she was cutting herself and hadn't told anybody else. i don't know what i can do bc of the distance so i just gave her my phone number and told her to call me if she ever felt like hurting herself. was this the right thing to do? i also got her hooked up with some counseling services where my old school (where she goes is). why would she not talk to me for a while then come to me with this? what does that mean? she also told me that she lost her virginity and her body feels weird. why the hell would she tell me that but not her bf? bc i care about her, it hurt to hear that she had slept with him

My ex-bf & I dated for a short while then HE ended it, and it has been over for one year. He's 26, I'm 21. He has lots of experience with dating, while he was my first kiss & first bf. Our relationship was so innocent, cuddling in his room, holding hands, kissing. We never had sex cuz he knew I wanna save sex for marriage. He says says hi to me on msn even though HE ended it. 2 months ago, he called me, after one yr. & wanted to make plans together so we could see a movie sometime. We set a date, he picked me up & after the movie he took me home. I was so shocked cuz last night he said hi to me on msn, also cuz I thought he would be sad/mad since I never said happy b-day to him which was few weeks ago. Do u think he cared that I didn’t wish him a happy b-day? On msn last nite, he asked me casual questions & he wanted to know what I was gonna do after I graduate university. I was just informed by my fiance's mother that his father will refuse to wear a tux to our wedding. I don't want to make anyone uncomfortable so I thought perhaps I could just ask him to wear khakis and a blue plaid shirt (since our colors are blue and white). I think if I do this, my dad should also wear something similar so photos will look better. Also I could have the ringbearer (my little brother) wear the same thing. I thought of putting the groomsmen in that too, but I think tuxs would be better for them. My wedding will be pretty casual anyway, so do you think this would look okay? Just the groom and groomsmen in tuxs? Also, should I ask my mother and his to pick a similar dress or at least the same color? Another question: My dad is bald and looks bad without a hat... however I'm getting married in a church so he can't really wear one... what would be your suggestions there? Thanks for all opinions

My 7 mons daughter and i living wit my husband's famil. It's not the reason we want to save money or anything but my husband wants a big family wit them. His parents fighting a lot, fighting about money, cooking almost about everything. I've had enough and now I'm bursted, i can't hide my feelings anymore. I feel so bad when they asked me to bring my daughter to them " bring her here" his parents said. His younger sis walks to my room my bring my daughter out of my sight, even her bf does this. I told my husband how unhappy i am but he is trying to treat me nice so i'll wouldnt ask him to move out. I really have no privacy, my husband is still being controlled by his family. I understand he loves his family, i love my family 2, i left my family whe we married. My family is in north, ca and his is in south, ca. Even 5 mins away his family is too far to him, only under a same roof would be near to him. He helped them a lot already, car, house, bill...thank you

She treats him like he's still a small child. She has to hug and kiss when he loves and when he comes. Its gross! We live together now so its becoming a real problem for us moving on with our own lives. She not the type of person to confront about this so what do I do? Well heres the thing my husband of 4 years has a 7 year old daughter that we havent seen in 2 years in may and he pays 152.00 dollars a week for chil support and we have two daughters together but we cant seem to make ends meet on our end do you know what i can do to get his support lowered i dont think i would mind it so much if we were able to see the child..her mother just doesnt like me i even told mu husband i would divorce him just so he could see her but we have been through the whole court thing we have custody arangments but she just dont follow them we have even called the police but they couldnt do anything because they dont deal with that kind of stuff so please if anyone can help me i would appreciate it...

I had the BIGGEST urge yesterday to just talk to my ex-boyfriend on msn, but I didn’t do anything about it. I was on msn & he was online too. Back in my high school, I was pretty popular among girls. I had numerous friends, and I easily became presidents of many clubs and stuff.

When I didn't have a car, one cute girl offered me to provide ride to school everyday, and she gave me her number even if I didn't ask. and I refused... and now she is a cheerleader in college (we go to different schools)

So, I'll say, even though I am not hot or anything, I did attract several girls, and I did get along with them very well.

But, now I am in college, I feel like I am a total loser. As a pre-med, I study my *** off without going to parties, and no girls in my class consider me as a potential guy to go out.

What has happened to me? I am way more athletic than my high school years and dress way better with more maturity.

I am interested in asking a colleague out on a date, but I'm not sure if he's gay or not. He's not married, but he doesn't have obvious gay mannerisms either. He smiles at me with a twinkle in his eye, but I could be reading too much into simple friendliness. I thought about just "asking around" ... is that the best way? I suspect he's not "out" and might withdraw and not even be friendly anymore if rumor got back to him that I was asking other people. He's such a nice guy, intelligent, attractive, interesting, and very decent acting. It sucks to be gay in a straight world. (note - this in not a teenager situation.. we are both middle-aged professionals, both single.)

The question pretty much explains it. I have a hard time keeping up a conversation on the phone, and quite often there's this long silence, and basically we end up just kind of listening to each other breathe. What kind of things could you sit and talk about? What kind of questions could I ask to get to know him better? 'Cause we've basically gone through every question we could think of. ^^;
It's even harder, since he's my boyfriend, and it's easier to talk with girls, because there's a wider aray of things to talk about.
