My parents have recently punished me for "disappointing" grades". Grade 6-8 no marks were under a B (in fact my report card contained ~90% A- to A+). Grade 9 my final average was 89% (with courses that I was forced to take bringing that down). In grade 10 my average went down to 87%. Now I'm sitting on an 83% average in my second term in grade 11, with 50% of my marks still to be gained (reporting is cumulative). I am in the 94th percentile on the PSAT's without studying and I am sure that my only problem is my inconsistency and lack of interest (I am getting 90%+ in the classes that interest me) in the subjects I am learning, and my parents and teachers all confirmed this. Do you think that their punishment (consisting of: no computer, no TV, no going out; pretty much not having fun of any sort; all to be replaced with intensive studying) is fair? Please give me some advice! Oh, and I didn't mention they were Eastern European (Romanian).

I am 13. My mom has a minor drinking problem. she has had it for a long time. she went to rehab about a year about, it didnt help very much. often i blow up in her face and say really rude things that she takes heavily. she will often cry and not want to talk to me. i am always so overcome in guilt and feel absolutly horrible! i feel so guilty that i often get a stomach ache. she is very good about forgiving me when i apologize but i am always left with some guilt. i think that this time when i try to apologize she will not be so forgiving. what should i do?????

How do you cope with out a father for 13 years? I'm older than that but he lelt early. Like I said, I don't know how to feel... I love him (not sure why) but hate him for what he's done to my whole family. One minuet he'll be regular the next I'll write him and he'll make me feel like a piece of crap. The funny thing is I haven't seen him face to face for 13 or more years and we both live in the same small town. I love him but want to cuss him out. What should I do to make these feelings of worthlessness and pain go away? I don't want to turn to drugs and alchohol (his way of things) but I feel like I'm starting to slip. And another question...Am I the only one?

My divorce was finalized in Nov 2006. I had been married for 4 of the longest years of my life. Since the divorce I have been happy as He*l.
I go out of town for a wedding and when I get back there are flowers waiting for me from my ex at both my home and job.
He has started calling me & emailing me to go out to dinner with him. I am not going to go but I may have to get a court order or something. But I just wanna know how come some men can't accept when its over.
I haven't heard from him since Nov or Dec 2006. He says that he still loves me. All of this is just out of the blue.

Hi, am I am 19 years old and since I was 13 my period has been irregular. It cames one month then it would skip like three months then come, then skip a whole year then come, then a month, u get the picture!

Well i would like to know if this means that I will never be able to have children, because the doctor told when i was about 16 that it would regularize it self...but it never has!

I need some advice........from a another woman who has either been through this or knows something about it.

I'm 18 and he's turning 18 in a few months (I'm the older woman lol lol). I first met him when we were both 13. I guess in the beginning he was my crush. Now I love him and want to marry him. Around 15 we started to help each other get relief with our hands and that we do on a pretty regular basis. Usually at his home after school before his mom and step dad come home from work. We don't have much time. Lately I want him completely and I think he really wants me too. This weekend is a once in a lifetime opportunity. My parents are going away for the weekend and taking my 13 year old brother (what a relief!!). His parents are going away for the weekend and there are still my nosy grandparents that I have to report to on my cell phone BUT both he and I have a driving lesson (we are in the same car) on Saturday. The instructor will drop us off whereever we want so we could be dropped off at his house for some fun. Maybe we could be intimate for about two to three hours.

My husband left us about a year ago....he lives close by with his girlfriend and has the kids Wed. nights & every other weekend - he pay child support but does nothing else. I kept the house (long story - he left 2 years ago also and I re-fied to 'buy him out' for $25 K) so I have the $1650 mtg with $2000 for support . I have 4 kids, a house in disrepair, a 6 year old that is so stubborn and willfull that I truly don't know what to do and no job. I have been selling on eBay & doing cake decorating to make ends meet but it isn't enough. I am having difficulty finding work that will pay more than a sitter since I quite working 10 years ago to become a stay-at-home-Mom.........

Holy crap......I try to keep up with them all, homework, laundry, housecleaning, meals,etc... I could go on & on. I am at my wits end and I just can't seem to get the 6 yr. old to mind me - my oldest (a 13 yr. old son) seems to think he needs to take over the "Dad's" role, there are not enough hours in the day

is it strange for the woman to propose to the man? would men find this flattering or embarrassing? women, has anyone out there done this? i'm contiplating doing this but i don't want to take away his "manly duty". some men might dream about this their whole lives and then get it shattered by being beaten to the punch. is it old school to think this way or is it the 20th century and anything goes???

okay, he's 56,bi-polar-not medicated and an alcoholic. he refuses to take any meds and admit to any "issues" he has.he can get very mean with his wife. mean is an understatement. he hit his first wife,i don't know about the current wife. he recently started remodeling a house that they plan on living in so the stress level is dangerously high. my sister in law has called and e-mailed me many times and told me about his behavior. i don't mind being a sounding board. i don't think she has anyone else to talk to(no family)and everyone needs to vent. and my bro really is an *sshole. i don't know if there is anything else i can or should do for her. i can't really advise her, i don't think it's my place. is there anything else i can do? say? thanks

great until the past 6 months, Hes become very possessive and jelous and its driving me nuts. We have always been complete opposites where he is very anti social and I am very social but I have never given him a reason to be jelous. I went for a girls night out with friends on the weekend and I spent more time answering my mobile phone to him. When I got home he was sitting in the dark waiting for me. It was really weird. ok--my cousin keeps trying to set me up. she once gave my number to a guy that she thought was just perfect. he never called. oh well. then she recently found another guy that is just perfect. he gave her his email and phone number. i don't really know anything about him and i was thinking that if i do contact him that email would be less awkward, but what do you say? i have no idea where to start. what do you all think? i'm not really sure that suggesting meeting for coffee is a great idea just yet as like i said--i don't know anything about him other than he's a 6yrs older than me.

there is this guy who is my dad's friend's son...he is 12 years older than me and i think he likes me......but the thing is that he is married....we are really good friends.......best friends......he told me that he doesnt like his wife....well thats true coz his mom made him marry her......she is his cousin........he dislikes her a lot......she really pisses him off.....

so i have a boyfriend [lets call him charlie]. its our second time going out. the last time it ended because i was having trouble figuring out if i was bisexual or straight. hes a really strong christian and it was against his beleifes to go out with people like that. but a few weeks after we broke up in december, my feelings for girls ended. he was my first real boyfriend, and i couldnt get him out of my head since the breakup. i then found out that charlie liked me again, and he asked me out on friday. well the thing is that ive been best friends with my other ex [lets call him tod] for almost two years, and were really close. the only person im not shy around is tod, and charlie gets really jealous because im constantly with tod. i cant help but notice that charlie gets really nervous and weird whenever tod is brought up. how can i explain to charlie that i love him? [if love possibly could exist in 8th grade]

Well, it just seems like life hates me. When i was younger (like back in middle school) I was pretty tall compared to everyone else, turns out i stopped growin since then. (currently 5 foot 3 inches). Ever since my freshman year in highschool, i haven't had a girlfriend or even think someone had a crush on me (i'm a senior by the way). I'm pretty dark too. Like i'm black, but kinda dark. Is there a good chance that I could have another girlfriend. she obviously might not find me attractive since i'm short. but is there a chance for me?

I'm 23 yrs old and I'm a virgin. I say that with dignity, honor, and respect for myself. I'm an attractive girl (I'm not being stuck-up) but I do believe I'm beautiful inside and out. I know there is a double standard for guys its okay to have sex early...but for girls it is not. I am old-fashioned girl...I was raised up that way and it is apart of my beliefs. I'm fourteen & a good daughter. I get straight A's & I always try to help her when I can. She bought me Proactiv last month & I was really grateful & I used it every day. I used the cleanser in the shower because I thought that was okay. When I casually told her that, she suddenly yelled at me saying I had to use it at the sink, not the shower. & she kept yelling & screaming saying that's stupid & I'm an idiot who doesn't have any sense & I started bawling tears.
