My divorce was finalized in Nov 2006. I had been married for 4 of the longest years of my life. Since the divorce I have been happy as He*l.
I go out of town for a wedding and when I get back there are flowers waiting for me from my ex at both my home and job.
He has started calling me & emailing me to go out to dinner with him. I am not going to go but I may have to get a court order or something. But I just wanna know how come some men can't accept when its over.
I haven't heard from him since Nov or Dec 2006. He says that he still loves me. All of this is just out of the blue.

Maybe he is experiencing the BIGGEST regret of his life.
Um, yeah, I think you should move on babe if your not happy with your marriage... but think of this first: why did you two wanted to get married in the first place? Did the wedding vows meant anything to you? to him?
Geez, the divorce rates today is just sky-rocketing... it makes me real sad. ='(

When he sent you flowers was there a card that said anything about where they came from as well? Just a thought But maybe You could of sent them back and resend them back to him. After all he did pay for them. Maybe He'd get it then! Delete E-mails no one says you have to read them. As for the part that he still loves you, He probably does and he just woke up, only its to late your the only one who can answer that. But through my own experience with men, men cannot comprehend what we say until its to late. And it does sound like it could be to late..If you have children you must try to get along for the sake of the kids. If not, You have to do what is right for you,And that's something only you alone can answer...... Good luck in what ever you have to do I'm sure none of it will be easy for either of you!!

keep in mind it was the type of guy you attracted and married
you did not marry a strong individual
you married a week minded mamma's boy who can't stand to be alone and has a hard time finding a new women
you however are the complete opposite and hence you moved on and are now happy ( and dealing with his emotional garbage )
totally cut him off
if you need to
throw flower immedately in the trash ( hopefully they are visible ), word will get back to him what you though of them much less him
change phone/email/ even name
as much as you need to to fully insulate you from this loser
over time he'll clue in

What's wrong with that? You were married for four years! It's not like it's a guy you dated for a month a few years back, this is your ex husband! I would ignore him, or kindly tell him to leave you alone if it's bothering you so much. Sometimes we realize we made a big mistake when it's too late...

You are in charge of whether he gets that it is over. If you don't respond and continue to stay distant, believe me, unless he is a stalker, he will get it. Keep to your stance and eventually he will go away. Do not give him any reason to think you "need to talk".
