Although 3 years difference is common in marriages, it is wrong when you are that young. I suggest sticking within a year of your age until you are out of school. However, being your friend, you need to respond in love. Make sure your friend is safe, but don't abandon him/her.

Yes, it's a bit weird but GRADES aren't always significant. How OLD are they? My nephew is in 6th now, and he's 12. I was 14 when I was in the 9th grade, so there are only two years between. Even so, freshman generally don't date sixth graders. Their interests are normally very different and most 9th graders would be embarrassed to date someone from middle school.

Omg yeah I think 6th graders are way to young for 9th graders. Usually 9th graders would not like them very much since they are young.. girls usually but not all go for the older guys I think or their own age that is a little creepy I would talk to her.
Oh and btw, not all 6th graders go to middle school in my school, 6th grade was still elementary.

Yes, too big an age difference. For those under 16, 2 years should be maximum age difference. If the sixth grader is old, and the 9th grader young, that might be different.

wow..umm...i don't think a 9th grader dating a 6th grader is such a good idea..even though they are both young and hopefully under the age of 18. But still i think it would be inappropriate for someone to want to date a middle school person straight out of elementary school.

Yes. A high-schooler asking a kid that just got out of elementary school is very creepy.

It is a big difference when you are in school. She is probably 15 and he is only 12. When you're adults that's not a big age difference but when you're in school there is a big difference in maturity. So, yea its kinda weird.
