I am an singer, writer, actor but really a day professional (to pay the bills). Being 'on stage' really does a world of good for me; being in the Entertainment field, you have to have a certain amount of verve coupled with confidence. My wry sense of humour in writing is well appreciated by most yet my close friends will take it upon themselves to judge what I'm doing. Believe me, I appreciate & welcome constructive criticism but when not asked for, it's just unsolicited advice.

My friend is a good one, yet at times she can be unappreciative, a tad hypocritical and a little harsh. Those are her 'bad' points and I know no one is perfect. I guess I was a little perturbed how she commented on my latest blog like gangbusters. She complimented it and said I was a good writer but stated it was narcissistic in nature. I told her everyone is entitled to an opinion, even when it's free. Is this a possible jealousy talking or is it the need to tell me things from lack of tact?

I asked many girls, all absolutely straight, and they all told me
that it was much more pleasant and interesting to stare at girls, at their dresses, faces, and at what pretty body parts they have (this has pretty hair, this - butt), and so on. But they did not like to stare at man like this, at random, and would rather at girls. Why?

BACKGROUND:
I like this girl and I got the feeling she likes me too. It was a coeincident that I just moved exactly next to her apartment a week ago. I knew her for 8 weeks now. I only called her 3-4 times a week for 5-7 minutes. We only hang out together once (casually). I know my look is not a problem and I drive a benz SL.

PROBLEM:
She always find an excuse not to go out with me everytime I ask her out for a casual dinner (not a date). It's hard for me to show my real personality just on the phone.

MY THOUGHT:
-She fear that I am a player (which I already showed her Im not)
-She still wanna have fun
-ZILLION of other males are chasing her!

WHAT I SHOULD DO?
-Will I melt her heart eventually? should i tell her my feeling? or I should lay low and be friend for now (for how long)?
-Any catchy-fun phrase to ask her out?

million thanks to u guys!

about women/wives liking a spanking, and the negetive responses I recieved essentially attacking "me" rather than addressing the question, do you think it's a case of "me thinks she doeth protest too much?"..... or is it a case of prudes who believe that you'll go to hell if you do it doggie style? Of the eight responses I've gotten at this time, one was positive towards spanking, and seven were not. On that ratio, is it safe to conclude that one out of every eight women on Y! Answers enjoy either a spanking, riding crop, paddles, etc?

Please ladies, try to look at my question objectively rather than vent your feminist prose. All it does is reflect a lack or self control and insecurity in your submissive natures. In order for your answer to be heartfelt, you must understand that G.I. Jane was just a friggin movie. No offense intended.

Is he broke...it was two days before payday.
Or is he just a jerk?
He asked me to buy him something
that cost a lot more than $2...and I got it.
I wish I knew "You don't need it." was an option
and he wouldn't have gotten anything!

My boyfriend and I moved out to Cali together to live our lives together as a couple. We had been on and off for 1 year and realized that we really did love eachother and took the plunge to be in a relationship as a duo. We moved out here and as time passes he has hooked up with friends out here and gone out partying without me and has lied about it. Told me that this is the way things are and he is not changing and expects me to put up with this nonsense I think because he knows that his work contract pays for the rent and I really have no other place to go. He says that he is sorry but when he came out to Cali he realized that "things are different out here" and he is really backing me in a corner with the lies that he is telling about partying and ends up blaming the whole thing on me. " If I didn't feel so confined, I wouldn't be going out so much with my friends." This is my first real relationship and I am trying to do everything right but I am kind of feeking stuck. Feedback?

83. Guys' weakest point is at the knee.
84. When a problem arises, a guy usually keeps himself cool but is already thinking of a way out.

86. When a guy looks at you, either he's amazed on you or he's criticizing you.
87. When you catch him cheating on you and he asks for a second chance, give it to him. But when you catch him again and he asks for another chance, ignore him.
88. If a guy lets you go, he really loves you.
89. If you have a boyfriend, and your boy best friend always glances at you and it obviously shows that he is jealous whenever you're with your
boyfriend, all I can say is your boy best friend loves you more than your
boyfriend does.
90. Guys learn from experience not from the romance books that girls read and take as their basis of experience.
91. You can tell if a guy is really hurt or in pain...when he cries in
front of you!
92. If a guy suddenly asks you for a date, ask him first why.
93. When a guy says he can't sleep if he doesn't hear your voice even just for one night, hang up. He also tells that to another girl. He only
flatters you and sometimes makes fun of you.
94. You can truly say that a guy has good intention if you see him praying sometimes.
95. Guys seek for advice not from a guy but from a girl.
96. Girls are allowed to touch boys' things...not their hair!
97. If someone says you're beautiful, that guy likes you.
98. Guys hate girls who overreact.
99. Guys love you more than you love them if they are serious in your
relationships.

REMINDER: Test a guy first if he's really the one. Some are just pretending to be the one.

There is a girl I have been talking to for about a month. She works at a store I shop at regularly. Through our conversations, I learned that she speaks fluent German, Spanish, Croatian, and English (of course).

Last week when I was in the store she came up behind me and grabbed my arm and said "hi" and asked what I was up to. When I left the store, I waved at her from across the store and she waved back. It was her birthday last week, so I learned how to write happy birthday in Croatian and wrote it on the receipt she gave me when I checked out.

She read it and smiled and told me I even spelled everything right. She then started to write me a note in Croatian, but said "I better not" and took her note back and crumpled it up before she gave it to me. Then she told me to learn something else in Croatian and write her another note.

I think she likes me, but maybe is intimidated by the fact that I am older than her (Im 23 she is 19). I'm confused about why she didn't give me hernote

My best friend and I works on a same place. We always had a petty quarrels on little things about work and not on personal things. He thought that I always betray him, turn him down on his works, compete with me. He is angry and irritated with for no reasons. Sometimes I think he don't trust me no more. Is this usual for friends?

We are living on the same house after work and so sometimes I can still feel his bitterness.

I don't want to fight with him, I don't want to be his enemy on any other way or cause. It hurts me so much about this things that I'm afraid it may affects our friendship. What will I do?

She is my best friend although she is my cousin. we have at least 10 years together. But since i got a boyfriend, she has been so selfish or maybe jealous, I don't know. There is this guy at school that she likes very much, but he doesn't seem to be interested in her. She is so crazy about him that she is being obsessed. I told her that but she didn' accept it. She says that what she feels about him is "love".The problem is this: My mom doesn't let me go out alone, so when I wanna meet my boyfriend I ask mu cousin to come with me. She always says: If Andy(the guy she likes) isn't there, I won't come. This drives me crazy, because I've done so many things for her and this is the way she repays me. She thinks only for herself. When she was down I tried everything to make her feel better. The opposite she did with me. I was very sad and all that she did was: I got other problems to think about. I don't know if she has changed, but to me she is selfish now. I really hate her. help me!
