000some try to be sneeky, get along as good as you can in her home for your husband's feeling and ask your husband to help you on this matter. he loves you both. and you can bet, this mother could fool him when he was growing up, but, now he's a man now and she not as quick anymore. hehehe

i love my daughter-n-law. i enjoy her. she has always treated me good. and when i stay the weekend with them. she's very kind. i have my own special coffee cup even.
there pics hung up of me.
you know i really never thought about little thinks like this for me. it makes me feel like they still need me.

I found the best way to a mom in laws heart is to be a loving wife to her son. take interest in her like a mentor. watch her cook, have her teach you her specialities, compliment her often and sincerely, ask her for advice that you really will follow thru with, ask her about her childhood, etc. Taking an interest in her, thank her for bringing your hubby into the world. good luck peace

leave her son alone?? lol juts kidding.
i always advice that you listen to her,listen to her son about her.learn her.this way you might understand better her nature and her habits(doesn't make yo a psycho)
when you have accomplished this you can take time out with her,go shopping or something,the salon? old folks home..Lil
but at the same time don't be ahead of yourself,think of your self as ice,be cool.
when all else fails,bring up your husbands bad habits and make fun of him,im sure she will relate to that.

Stay on friendly terms.Ensure that you invite the family for meals.From what I have seeon Yahoo Answers make sure that you and your husband set boundaries of acceptable visits from families.Don try too hard.Just be yourself.

you are very good that you want to be freindly with mil but i think that you arent her daughter&and she will never be your mom,so you must treat her good but dont be too close to her ,and never ever tell her anything bad about her son ,whatever what he did to you,always tell her the good things you did for him,good luck .

What ever you do, be nice to her daughter and honestly show your love, when you are with your mother-in-law. convince her how much you adore your wife, and you will become great friends.
